Once at the Eagle's Nest you will enjoy all the best that Montana has to offer: sit on the covered porch, sipping your coffee and gazing at the majestic views and the nearby wildlife, hike or mountain bike on the 23 miles of trails right out your back door—or cross-country ski if the weather is right! The Missouri River is only 1 mile away which offers some of the finest fly fishing in the Western US, and is a destination for fly fishermen and women from all over the world. Take a 5-minute ride to beautiful Canyon Ferry Lake, Montana’s third largest body of water, where you can boat, swim, fish or stroll along part of its 76-miles of shoreline. The Great Divide Ski Area is only 50 minutes away. Or take the easy 20-minute drive to downtown Montana’s capital city, Helena, where you can shop, dine, or explore historic Reeder’s Alley. If you enjoy fine arts Helena boasts the Helena Symphony, the Archie Bray Foundation for Ceramic Arts, the Grand Street Theatre, The Myrna Loy Center for the Performing and Visual Arts, the Holter Museum of Art, and the Montana Historical Society Museum.
