Description: Enjoy a beautiful view of mountain living from this rugged timber frame one bedroom condo located in Chalakee, within Echota Resorts. This condo features a covered front entry and rear deck with an amazing Grandfather Mountain view. The view can be admired from the deck or from the large picture windows in the open kitchen and living room areas. The kitchen features custom kitchen cabinetry, granite countertops, hardwood floors, and stainless-steel appliances. It is fully equipped with everything to prepare a meal inside or outside on the built-in-gas grill. The living room is cozy and inviting with a cultured stone gas fireplace, hardwood floors, comfortable furniture and a TV. Stay for a weekend to relax or an extended period and enjoy all the High Country has to offer. This condo is on the bottom floor (downstairs) with an elevator. In case of power outages or elevator equipment malfunctions, the condo will be stair access only.

Resorts' Amenities: Amenities in these gated resorts include indoor and outdoor (seasonal May 1 - Oct. 1) swimming pools with hot tubs, two private clubhouses, fitness rooms, stocked fishing ponds, a 23-acre riverfront park, community hiking trails and catch and release fishing.

Location: This Resort is centrally located to Boone, Banner Elk, Valle Crucis and Blowing Rock in the Foscoe area. The convenient location makes it just minutes away from all the High Country’s most famous attractions such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls and Caverns, and Appalachian State University.  If you are looking for winter sports there are several different options from Hawksnest Snow Tubing, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Beech Mountain Ski Resort, and Appalachian Ski Resort. Relax and enjoy the slow pace of the mountains and the fresh air or be adventurous and go hiking, fishing, biking, or sight-seeing. Some other things people enjoy are shopping, antiquing, skiing, golfing and miniature golfing, ziplining, go-karts, and gem mining.

We enjoyed the condo, it had everything we needed and was clean, the porch and view was very nice. The resort was kept up well and we liked having the indoor pool and hot tub to use.

We love this condo and have stayed there several times. Easy access, beautiful view, nice kitchen, clean, comfy bed. We are completely happy to just sit on the deck and enjoy the view, but not far from Boone or Banner Elk if you want to go out to eat. Very close to Grandfather Winery.

A very comfortable unit with a wonderful view of Grandfather mountain. The amenities are a great bonus. The location is midway between Banner Elk/Surgar Mountain and Boone.

This location is perfect! Great view of the mountains and you can get to Boone, blowing rock, banner elk, and blue ridge parkway in 30 minutes or less! Wasn’t in the condo for long periods so didn’t get the chance to use any of the amenities. WiFi was a little challenging in the living area but outside of this we would be staying here again!

very beautiful view and the place was very quiet. Location was not bad getting to Boone or Blowing Rock - maybe 15-30 mins depending on traffic. Would stay here again!

Long weekend in the high mountains...perfect!

My husband and I needed a getaway. We did things in Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk and the Blue Ridge Parkway and this was in the midst of all of them! It was perfect! The view from the porch of Grandfather Mountain was amazing! Foscoe Rentals is top-notch!

Absolutely loved our stay here! The view was stunning and the location was perfect. The condo was exactly as pictured, and even though the weather was cold and windy, we still managed to enjoy the area. Truly an excellent stay and we would love to return!
