Perfect location a short walk up the hill to Grove Park Inn, lots of bears in the neighborhood - even an albino squirrel (see photo). Very quiet place in a serene residential neighborhood, and nicely appointed with shopping amenities and downtown Asheville nearby. It was our 2nd visit. We will be back!

Perfect weekend getaway

A historic property in a Swiss Chalet neighborhood that begs you to walk and see the beautiful designs of architect Charles Parker who designed the fantastic Grove Arcade downtown. Adjacent to a golf course and 5 acres of undeveloped land the atmosphere is quiet yet near the city,

This is a first class accommodation for the discerning traveler where every detail has been considered. You will be pleased to find a loaf of homemade bread and a bottle of wine awaiting you. Enjoy the park like setting complete with hammock, outdoor grill and picnic table.Well-equipped kitchenette with small refrigerator, dishwasher, electric drip coffee maker, microwave, dual burner induction cooktop and toaster oven. Breakfast beverages (coffee, tea, hot chocolate, creamers and sweeteners) supplied. The bathroom includes a spacious shower and all new fixtures. All original art work including 19th century prints, Japanese vases and sculpture and oil painting.
