Affordable Luxury-Newly Renovated Beachfront Condo-Vacation Paradise

We invite you to enjoy our sanctuary, beautifully situated on a cove of white sand 100 feet from the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. Our private third floor balcony has a breathtaking view of the Caribbean where you can enjoy a cup of coffee while watching a magnificent sunrise, an evening drink or simply lie back in your hammock and let the gentle breeze lull you to sleep.

The newly remodeled (December 2017) condo features a tasteful fusion of Mexican and Caribbean decor with marble, granite throughout. The condo has two complete bedrooms, each with its own private bath, making it suitable for two couples or a family with two to four children. The large living room also has a Murphy bed as well as a sofa bed. The master bedroom has a king size bed with a sitting area and beautiful private bath with ceramic shower and marble counter tops. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a beautiful bathroom also with a ceramic shower and marble counter tops. Both sides have incredible views of the Caribbean and are adorned with original artwork collected from around the world. Each bedroom and the great room are individually air-conditioned and there are ceiling fans for those wishing to enjoy the natural Caribbean breeze.

By day, soak up the sun on your private balcony or relax by the infinity pool situated within feet of the Caribbean. You can also enjoy the sunbathing ledge that is built into the pool or venture into the gentle waters of the Caribbean. Take a walk down the beach and collect coral and shells. Discover the natural beauty of the Riviera Maya. Consider visiting one of the wonderful eco-parks such as Xel-Ha or Xcaret, swim, snorkel or dive in a cenote, visit the Si'an Kahn biosphere (a world heritage site), dive at the world's second longest reef, swim with the dolphins, explore the Botanical Gardens, visit 5th Avenue in Playa del Carmen, explore Tulum, Coba or Chitzen-Itza (recently voted one of the seven wonders of the world), take the kids to the Crococun Zoo, go fishing or horseback riding. If you want more adventure, consider trying out ziplines, para sailing, kite surfing or cave diving.

Take a short (15 minute) stroll into Puerto Morelos, a quaint, Mexican-Bohemian fishing village that is sure to charm you. Hidden gem

My partner and I stayed at this beautiful apartment during our time in Mexico, and this was by far the best part of our travels. The accomodation was far more spacious than it looks in the photos, with the highlight being the large balcony/terrace overlooking one of the most picturesque views I have ever seen. Kitchen was well stocked, beds comfortable, plenty of space for a larger family with 2 full sized bathrooms.The pool was fantastic with friendly neighbours. And the location was also great. I was worried we might be a bit too far away from the centre of Puerto Morelos, however a quick 15 min was absolutely fine. Overall, we had a great time and the hosts were very attentive. Thanks!

This is a wonderful condo. Very updated with great bathrooms and kitchen. Kitchen is very well stocked with anything you might need for cooking. The building itself is well maintained and the outside grounds are immaculate. The staff works very hard to see to that and also more than willing to answer any questions or help with any thing you may need. Beautiful pool with crystal clear water.

The condo is spacious and well maintained with a great view of the sea. The neighbors were gracious and welcoming. One night a neighbor hosted a party for all; it was a very enjoyable evening. The condo is in a quiet and secluded area.The pool and grounds were well maintained but the hot tub was not functioning. A neighbor told me that it had been broken for some time. In addition the beach was a disappointment. It was dangerous to swim given many boulders and the beach was very narrow, making it difficult to walk on it. So if one likes to swim in the sea, this is not a good location.

Perfect paradise stay

This was an amazing place to stay..clean, comfortable, fabulous pool, very safe, friendly locals, walking distance into town (by road, not by beach) and so many great places to eat! The hosts checked in on us and were very responsive when we needed things like the filtered water replaced. Air conditioning worked amazing. We are pleasantly surprised to see the balcony is larger than what it appears in the photos with plenty of seating. The ocean was steps away but, as others reported, the seaweed is a problem. We expected to see the crystal clear blue Caribbean water, but that was the only disappointing thing about this place. If you're looking for a relaxing place, that you feel safe at, and can walk into town this is it! Don't think twice! We also met some really kind people at the pool who directed us on activities to do!

Puerto Morelos Vacation

Communication with the owners was excellent. Checkin in process was very easy. The condo was a ten minute walk into Puerto Morelos and very accessible to restaurants and bars. The property was maintained very well by a hard working team. The condo itself exceeded all of our needs although it would have been nice to have had an oven. Having said that we used the toaster oven for some things. The beds were very comfortable with linens provided. Both bedrooms had well equipped ensuites. The kitchen staples are readily available in Puerto Morelos along with a great grocery store and fish market and all necessary amenities. The Infiniti pool was gorgeous however not heated. All in all it was an awesome vacation and great place to stay. Thank you to the Arlene dream team.

Best Equipped Condo Ever, Very Responsive Owners

The grounds and views from this property are outstanding there is a lovely pool and beach area where one can easily relax and watch the day go by or just sit on your private balcony. The condo itself was immaculate and had everything you could possibly need for an extended stay. Everything was in perfect working condition and of high quality (loved the Ninja coffee maker). We had a small issue with the shower head in the master bedroom and contacted the owners who quickly responded, apologized for any inconvenience and sent staff over to repair it as soon a possible. Very impressive response indeed. The only cons are beyond the owner's power to do anything about, namely: you need to walk along a narrow sometimes busy road to get to the town center because you cannot walk the entire way along the beach as it is blocked by a fenced pier used for container shipments. The bottom line is our stay involved a little more walking but that was a small price to pay for having such a well equipped, comfortably furnished piece of paradise hosted by such considerate owners. I miss the balcony, pool, beach, sound of the waves and the lovely breeze coming through the condo and I would recommend staying here in a heartbeat. Fantastic Property

Don’t hesitate to come to Puerto Morelos!!! And this is the place to stay!!

If you are looking to experience to vacation in very safe laid back cultural town in Mexico Puerto-Morelos is right for you. You will be able to walk freely to eat anything your heart desires, shop among many of the local shops and take in the beautiful beach in town. Locals will know you by the end of your stay. My husband, 17yr old and 21yr old just had the most amazing vacation and thanks to finding Frank and Sherry’s rental at Caribbean reef Villas which in our opinion was the perfect location definitely made our week perfect. What you see is what you get in the condo when you walk in will be exactly as pictured ( I wish I could have bottled up the smell of the laundry and took it home ) The condo literally has everything you need even beach towels . The kitchen was super easy to cook in just go to the local grocery store which is about a 10 minute walk into town, get what you need for the week to do a few meals, stock up on some cold ones but take a cab back for five dollars. You will enjoy the most beautiful view out of the balcony and the pool is absolutely stunning and very refreshing. Too bad of the seaweed in front of the condo, they do work really hard at trying to remove it but I do believe that seaweed is very bad everywhere this year. No worries you can still get your toes in the sand and Wade and the beautiful waves of the ocean maybe find a shell or two. The showers are amazing and the beds are very comfortable . Frank and Sherry are very honest and I thank them for responding to my annoying inquiries and encouraging us to make Puerto morales our vacation spot and to stay there . We definitely enjoyed our mornings on the balcony and evenings on the balcony talking about our day. We enjoyed that 10 minute stroll into town which we did quite often even in the very dark so very dark we had to turn the flashlights on our phones to see where we were going but we felt very safe( you could rent bikes in town for the week to get around but we opted not to ) we booked an all day excursion in the town to visit Cobá and Tulum and to swim in a Cenote to end with a stop in Playa Del Carmen. We did a two hour snorkeling excursion as well ( which was plenty of time , we were definitely wore out) definitely the most beautiful snorkeling experience we ever had . So yes we would visit Puerto morelos again and yes Frank and Sherry’s condo will be the place for us to stay .

Another great vacation

We have stayed Caribbean Reef Villas four times in the past and this condo was the nicest unit that we have stayed at. The view from the balcony was great (sunrise looking out to the sea, sunset over the mangroves and cruise ships coming up the coast in the evening). The unit is well furnished and very comfortable. The property is well maintained and the pool was never crowded. We are hoping that we will be able to stay here again on our next visit to Puerto Morelos.

Peaceful respite

The villa was a great place to relax and enjoy all the wonderful restaurants in Puerto Morelos. It was decorated with gorgeous artwork and plenty of reading material. The walk into town was about 15 minutes and we would take a cab back at night.

Great location as a homebase for exploring the area.

Sherry and Frank’s condo is beautiful, well-kept, and filled with lovely art. The beds were so comfortable and the balcony views wonderful. The staff were very responsive and Pedro took us to Tulum one day, and to the Cenote Verde Lucero another. The pool is so refreshing...we mostly enjoyed it in the late afternoon/early evening. The only drawback for staying at this wonderful location is if you want to spend time on the beach as the seaweed piled up each day. Overall we truly enjoyed our 5 nights at this condo... and we fell in love with Puerto Morelos!

Great Condo in Puerto Morelos

Our family enjoyed our stay at Carribean Reef very much. It's a well-maintained property in a good location (walkable to town, but far enough away so as to be calm and quiet). The condo was very nicely appointed, well-stocked and clean. Beds were very comfortable. We were a family of three and it was the perfect size for us. The grounds crew worked tirelessly to clear up the sargassum, but piles of it floated ashore as soon as it was cleared. It didn't bother us at all, though, as the pool was lovely and we had plenty of sea-time on our diving trips. Frank and Sherry were very responsive to my emails and messages, and great to work with. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved staying at this condo and will look forward to returning. It was recently remodeled and it is functional as well as beautiful. The deck is spacious and we loved being able to see the sunrise and sunset from there. My husband enjoyed the walk to town. It was a bit too far for me but taxi's are easy to get and very reasonable.

Incredible Ocean Front Condo

Had an excellent stay at a beautiful ocean front condo over the Christmas Holidays. Everything you needed was right there including spectacular views and an awesome pool. The condo staff was also quite helpful from getting extra towels to arranging transportation. The condo was just far enough out of town to provide peace and tranquility all of the time while on property yet a short walk to shopping and restaurants. We couldn't have picked a better spot for our vacation. No doubt this place is highly recommended!!

Amazing vacation home!

We just returned from yet another amazing vacation in Puerto Morelos. We loved this condo. It had a very well equipped kitchen. We had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. We were initially surprised with the empty/dirty lot next door but when we sat out on our patio overlooking the pool/ocean having our coffee or cocktails, we really didn't notice it any more. We had some issues with the air conditioner leaking which was a fluke that caught even the owner by surprise. They were so responsive, as was the staff, at taking care of it and ensuring our comfort that it really didn't effect our wonderful vacation. Frank and Sherry were so communicative prior to our trip. They answered tons of questions about things to do and even called to recommend a wonderful chef since they could not post the number via VRBO. Dona Sonia and Chef Marco were fun and the food was amazing. We will use them again on our next trip! We spent our afternoons laying by or floating in the pool. The staff keeps the place really well maintained and even knocked on our door at 11:00 one night to let me know I left the lights on in my rental car. THANK YOU! Thank you Frank and Sherry for your responsiveness. We really enjoyed our stay.
