Creeky Cedars Suite Mountain Getaway - minutes from Golden
Just 4 minutes south of Golden, our country suite sits on a lively 6.5-acre native plant nursery and family homestead, offering breathtaking views of the Columbia River wetlands and the majestic Rocky Mountains. Nestled among five national parks, this bright, two-level suite is your adventure launchpad and the perfect spot to unwind and immerse yourself in nature. Relax and rejuvenate in this charming retreat after a day of exploration.
This semi-detached home is ideally situated along the secondary highway (Hwy 95) connecting Golden and Radium Hot Springs, providing convenient access to all the area offers. This is a two level, semi-detached family home with exclusive access to the two-story suite and a dedicated driveway. Please utilize the first (north) driveway for parking. When traveling south from Golden, turn left into the first driveway after passing Almberg Road.

Delightful accommodation with great outdoor seating. A few kitchen basics and ground coffee are a welcoming feature. Town is close enough for a quick run for groceries or liquor store. If ever back this way we would definitely book again.
What an amazing place to stay. On the highway but no traffic noise, close to Golden but also out of town which gave it a real country feel. Everything about this place was a delight.
A lovely cabin adjoined to the main house, but entirely independent and separate. A beautiful and peaceful space, carefully laid out. We appreciated beautiful pictures and decor, as well as the fact that everything you could need would be there. The cabin is about 15-20 mins bike ride into the town of Golden, or a 5-7 min drive, and a great place to stage your Golden-based adventures.
It is exactly what we need for two nights and price!
It is clean, beds are comfortable, everything what you need in the kitchen, close to Golden,.We visited Takakkaw falls one of the most wonderful experience we had in our trip and it is only one hour from Irene house ! Thank you for having us!

A Place To Rest Our Heads
Surprisingly private to think that the owners live in the other side of the cabin. Great location if you can't book a cabin any closer to Banff/Lake Louise. Don't be frightened by first impressions. The cabin is clean and tidy inside.
The property is as described. Well located Andy confortable. Should be careful with Dishes. We had to wash it all before using it. The coffee maker does’t work
This private apartment worked great for my wife and I on a ski trip across BC. Plenty of room for up to 4 people (2 comfortable queen beds downstairs). Kitchen is well stocked; nice open layout with couch/chairs and TV upstairs. Easy driving access to the town, mountains, or hot springs.
We thought the property was great!
Everything was clean and organized, and the layout was ideal.
The informality of the place made it feel very comfortable and inviting. It felt more like staying at a friend's house than renting a room.
Airbnb versus standard hotel/motel?
Accommodations are comfortably informal and inviting.
Loved the owners, very friendly and easy to talk with. Loved the cabin, beds were comfortable, the living room and kitchen were very nice and had all you need, just need to bring food. The only down side for our family is we are all very tall big people and the shower was very small, but you can take a hot shower so all is good. Overall we loved our experience.

About the host
Hosted by Irene & Crystal
After meeting my husband working at an Arctic fishing lodge, we were called to the mountains to start our dream life together. We're proud members of the Golden community, where I'm a teacher and Nick drives a school bus. We also run a native plant nursery and homestead on our acreage with our two young boys. Tending to our land and preserving our forest is our honour, and we welcome you to share our little slice of paradise.
What makes this property unique
Only a short 4 minute scenic drive south of Golden, our two levelled suite gives you a peaceful, rural feel without the long drive. On our humble homestead, you will experience towering cedar trees, a babbling creek, native wildflowers and adorable farm animals.
