2100 sq. ft. walk out basement only with private entrance and drive, 2 bedroom suites(1 King, 1 Queen) with adjoining bathrooms, and 1 Bunkroom with 4 beds for children up to 150 ibs Top floor is occupied and not included in rental. Great room with adjoining full Kitchen. All overlooking the lake, pool and hot tub . Fishermen can launch their boat and tie up to the Pier below. Robert Trent Jones Golf course is only 10 minutes away. We are at the center of the Shoals area and only minutes to downtown Florence. Home to The University of North Alabama Lions, home of W. C. Handy Father of The Blues and some of the best bass fishing in the world on Pickwick Lake. Also,only 10 minutes from Muscle Shoals home of the world famous Fame Studio and Muscle Shoals Sound Studio. Visit these recording studios where legends like The Rolling Stones, Bob Seger, Paul Simon, Wilson Pickett, Aretha Franklin, Percy Sledge and so many more recorded songs that made Muscle Shoals "The Hit Recording Capital of the World. So much to see and do here in this Paradise of the Shoals.

We had the best time staying here! They had amazing amenities, not too far from downtown florence, and were available for anything we had questions about. The pool was such a plus. We did have to purchase baking sheet pans and salt/ pepper but everything else was 10/10! Jim and Susan were so incredibly sweet and accommodating.

Jim and Susan are absolutely great hosts. Although they live upstairs, they are often out on the weekends and don’t disturb privacy whatsoever. The pool, hot tub and dock are all top-notch.The property is also appointed very nice. They didn’t skimp on cost for the furniture and decorations, which makes you truly feel like you’re living in a nice home on the lake.We marked this one as a favorite and will be back.

Great Family Getaway!

We had a great time relaxing and getting away for a few days. The accommodations were amazing. All of us enjoyed the use of the private pool during the hot summer days. The kids even enjoyed night swimming. Jim and Susan were excellent hosts and our family enjoyed Gumbo the parakeet who had a fun time interacting with us. Will definitely come back again!

Muscle Shoals Music Studio Tours

This property is amazing and the owners are extremely responsive and hospitable. There are great views of the beautiful river throughout the home and the floor plan couldn't be better. The pool and outside sitting area were also spectacular with an even better river view. If you're travelling to the Muscle Shoals area, I'd highly recommend this property.

Delightful Respite

We are two golfing couples who golf at the nearby RTJ courses every fall. We usually stay in Florence at the Marriott. Our stay here was so much better. The house is great and we were interacting with our friends in a comfortable environment instead of being in a noisy bar. We will plan to return for our next visit.

Jim and I began building this home in 2013. We put lots of blood sweat and tears into this home. We married on the deck once finished and moved into it in 2014. We finished the downstairs and installed the Pool in 2016. We love our home and feel like we are on an endless vacation here in this piece of Paradise in the Shoals. We love meeting new people and sharing our downstairs with them. If you want privacy while renting that is exactly what you will have. We respect our renters. We are laid back and easy to adapt.
We have been extremely cautious during this Pandemic. We make sanitizing and cleanliness as our first priority. We drain hot tub after each rental and the entire downstairs is thoroughly sanitized.

Why they chose this property

This property is very peaceful and relaxing with beautiful mornings watching the birds and drinking coffee by the pool. There is beautiful sunsets and lots of boaters to watch coming in and out of the Marina and fishing. It is at the center of the Shoals within 10 minutes from most anything in the area. It is 10 minutes from the RTJ Golf course .There is a marina 5 minutes from our house that you can rent a Pontoon boat and enjoy Wilson Lake or You can fish from the pier here. If you want to bring a boat the dock 10 minutes away and tie up at the pier here.
