The Tree House!

This 3 bedroom octagon shaped river house has a king bedroom, queen bedroom, loft with two twin beds, living room, kitchen, and bathroom. There is also a separate bunk house that has two sets of bunk beds/full bathroom on the same floor as the house. Large deck to hang out/grill, etc. The river house sits about 40 feet off the water front. The river is great for swimming, tanning, boating, etc. The house is about 15 minutes from Florence, Al. Numerous restaurants and activities available.

Good stay. The inside of the home and bunk house was great, very clean and well decorated. The beds were very comfortable. The outside deck furniture and chairs around the fire pit were pretty dirty and could use some attention. The barbecue grills were not usable as they were also very dirty with caked residue and rust. They looked as if they had not been cleaned in some time and have been sitting for a while. The place overall is very cute and as described. The yard and river front is beautiful with easy access to the water. The host was very responsive and we had no issues checking in or accessing the home.

Place is nice

We enjoyed our stay all but Beds were definitely uncomfortable for all of us adults but may be fine for someone else. But our biggest issue was it not having a pool/spa which was listed under amenities. Granted its at the lake but the river was flowing good after a good rain. We ONLY got the location because of the pool option for the kiddos and the wives to be able to let kids swim while us guys fished. It Really bummed the kids trip as they spoke about the pool for 3 weeks. If we had known there was no pool or community pool, we absolutely wouldnt have gotten this location. Only because of amenities sought-after. The place is a good value otherwise.Owner is great with communication. Area is nice. AC Works great.

Chris, I hate to hear that the beds were not comfortable for you all. Also I spoke with VRBO and also checked my listing and I am not sure why it stated that we had a pool at this house. I am guessing it was a glitch, but either way I am very sorry for this inconvenience. I really appreciated your communication and understanding for this matter.

Tyler and his family were so wonderful, very kind and understanding with our large group, if you have a large family or reunion this is the spot. Lots of area activity water sports you can rent jet skis or boats delivered to dock or water guns and roast marshmallow

We really enjoyed our stay at the Treehouse. My 3 and 6 year old loved having access to the private dock. We brought our own kayaks and used the 1 sit on top Kayak that was provided with the rental. We planned only simple meals and had what we needed to cook and grill, but if we return would plan to bring some Solo cups because the only drinking glasses were coffee mugs or wine glasses- not great for kids. Loved that the fridge had filtered water dispenser so we could refill our stainless water bottles each day. We had a wonderful stay and would return! Thanks for hosting us!

Family Thanksgiving Trip

Very nice property right on Shoal Creek. 2 full baths, very small and head room in main house area is extremely low (if you are over 5'10"). No dishwashing machine and you are required to clean all dishes, before you leave. Good place, just know what you have to do at the end of your visit.

Surprise party

This was a great spot for gathering several families and kids together. Not everyone stayed over night, but the deck was awesome with gates for little ones and the weather we had could not have been more perfect! Thank you for the memories made!

Lived the Treehouse

We really enjoyed staying at the Treehouse! There was plenty of room for our group, the kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of parking. The owner was very easy to contact and was responsive to all our questions and even called to check on us after a bad storm went through! We will definitely be back!!
