Pilot House 229, also known as our “Current Escape” is a gorgeous studio located in Baytowne that offers you a hotel-style rental with the accommodations of an upscale vacation rental located on the Sandestin® resort.

Pilot House 229 will have you feeling right at home! When you enter the doorway of this charming studio, you will be greeted with a very comfortable layout with wooden flooring and coastal chic décor throughout. The living area features a very cozy couch that doubles as a queen sleeper sofa and a large flat screen TV. Next to the living area you will find the king size bed with a window overlooking the beautiful greenery. The bathroom is near the entryway offering you a shower/tub combo and single vanity space. Closet space and storage are also available as well as a kitchenette area with a stainless-steel mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The Pilot House has amazing amenities to offer! June 2023 Stay

Please put a normal coffee pot in the room. I can't get it to work, and when you want a cup of coffee, it's aggrevating. No coffee for me. not happy. also, pillow case linens missing in room upon arrival. I like this area, so that makes up for it.

Awesome Time

We loved the room and the location. It was located close to beaches, shopping and dining. We didn’t have to leave the resort when looking for places to eat or souvenirs. The complimentary activity was just what we needed. We chose the dauphin cruise. The communication was outstanding. We will definitely stay here again!

Quick birthday weekend getaway.

Unit is small. Do not recommend more than 2 people stay in the unit. Very tight space. Great place to rest for the night. Parking garage is a challenge. Do not recommend coming in a large vehicle. Location is great - just steps away from restaurants. Tram passes a big plus. Overall good experience.

Cozy and Convenient

Great location for stroll around Baytowne Wharf, access to pool, workout center, parking garage, and grill in garden setting. Perfect space for 2, but has fold out in addition to King bed. Pleasant, secluded view of foliage from window. Under furniture could use a good dusting, but overall clean and well-kept. Lagniappe: 2 beach chairs and umbrella in closet.

Golf Getaway

Perfect studio for short golf trip. Very comfortable and steps away from entertainment and restaurants. Combined with the Xplorie for free golf at Regatta Bay and Emerald Bay…very enjoyable vacation.

Although the cost was really high due to high demand and for my family we were and little cramped, everything worked out. The room what clean and tidy. The restaurants and shopping near was a plus, but the pool area could use some clean and up keep. Also I have yet you receive me damaged deposited back and I know berthing was good when we left.

We loved our stay at Pilot House! The location was perfect! 2 things could be improved: awareness of no towel/maid service so I could have been prepared and some hooks on the walls. There are very few places to hang anything wet. Otherwise great! Thanks

I’m handycaped and when you rent in a condo you don’t know how far from the elevator you are. In this instance you could not have been furthest from the elevator.

Cute & cozy getaway

Had a wonderful anniversary trip. There was some human hair on the bedding/linens that did not belong to myself or my husband, but otherwise clean and no stains etc. it was a small, cozy getaway at a great location! Loved Baytowne wharf! Can’t wait to come back with the family.

Great location, smaller condo than expected though.

This is the perfect location but be advised this is essentially a small hotel room with a couch and a bed. Very clean and you can't beat the are. We weren't in our room that much so we were fine with it.

Wonderful Stay!

We had a wonderful stay! The room was extremely clean, everything was exactly as stated/shown in pictures. It was also easy to find, and felt very secure. The amenities were fabulous and the tram passes were so helpful taking us back and forth to the beach. We can’t wait to come back!
