Our house, community, and central location make the Bethel Lake House the perfect five-star rated destination to stay in the Town of Bethel or in Sullivan County. Our spacious, open and fully renovated lake front home is available for rent...as a weekend escape, a three-day weekend in front of the fire, for the summer season or for a long, slow week to explore (also available as an artist's retreat for longer periods)---you choose.

Our community....New dog parks open year round. Smallwood Forest Reserve with pretty waterfall and nature walk with exercise equipment.

Super clean+, kid and pet friendly and full of family games and activities. House offers wired or wireless hi-speed internet. Two TV's with cable service. (If you want bring your playstation/gamebox and controllers and connect )

Wrap-around deck overlooking a private non-motorboat lake with beach. House has a HUGE finished basement with a pool-table, a fun golf putting green, dart board, foosball table, piano , separate seating area, and bunk-beds makes this great for two families to get away together (house sleeps up to 9. ....walk around the lake, bike rides, roast marshmallows, beginner skiing just twelve minutes away, see a concert at the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts (ten minutes to Yasgur's Farm), go antique hunting or bald eagle watching nearby... tour a small organic farm nearby, even bet on the trotters and gamble at the raceway (7 miles down the road)....

Payment is to be paid in full 30 days prior to arrival in order to honor reservations

Lastly, the walk around the lake is just over two miles and 90% flat. 1/2 way around by the beach is a Mountain Lakes Road that leads (1/2 mile?) to a small, but worthy. waterfall, forest preserve and a new Dog Park!
