The cabin is beautifully decorated and Mountain Views from the porch are stunning.There is a wonderful waterfall to enjoy nearby you can drive up to. There are atv trails and walking trails to explore. We really enjoyed our weekend.

Second time staying here that’s how much we enjoyed the cabin and our stay, the view is breathtaking, location is good close to bigger towns around. The communication with the management is great, you are not going to have an issue at all, cabin spotless clean and fully furnished and kitchen fully equipped as well, great for families stays. Could not recommend this property enough is great 10 out of 10 for everything.

Beautiful Stay In The Mountains

Wonderful cabin with a view to die for. We could have spent the whole weekend sitting on the deck but we would have missed the beautiful interior with any amenity you could ask for, comfortable bed and fully stocked kitchen. The good: Beautiful views and cabin. Comfortable beds, good location to Boone and Wilkesboro The bad: only one TV downstairs in the main bedroom, spiral stairs upstairs and downstairs.

Thank you for your response. We clearly state in our description "****IMPORTANT: Please note the staircases are spiral and are tight. You will need to watch your step. Please keep this in mind if booking with small children or elderly travelers." We also state that we have one tv. We pride ourselves on having a top notch home and we consistently get 5 star reviews. Its unfortunate to get less than that because a renter didn't read the description of the property.

If you are looking for a breathtaking view of the mountains this is it!! Cabin is fully equipped, the view is amazing, the owners are so welcoming, great communication, they took care of every little detail during our stay, everything you need they have it for you and your family. Great Accommodations!!

We have stayed in numerous cabins over the years and this one was the most well stocked and one of the cleanest we have ever stayed in. We did have a problem with one of the toilets, but Greg was in it and took care of it for us. It was a great location between Wilkesboro and Boone. Beautiful deck overlooking the mountains. We would stay here again without question.

Why they chose this property

We have loved spending time together in the mountains. We decided to find a get away place for us to relax and unwind. This was the first and only property we looked at. We fell in love right away.

What makes this property unique

One of the reasons we chose our cabin is for its peaceful seclusion and incredible views. With that being said, it will take you about 15 minutes from the gate house to reach The Sun Lodge. We love the winding roads and find it beautiful. Often we encounter deer, raccoons, fox, and wild turkey.
