We had a wonderful time at this riverfront cabin! The location is excellent — peaceful, scenic, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The cabin sits in a beautiful spot right by the water, and we really enjoyed the nature walks and quiet surroundings. The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The host was very quick to respond to any questions and made the stay smooth and comfortable.Highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking to unwind in nature!
Love this cabin, always clean and plenty to do. Beautiful view and the creek is an absolute plus and building a fire in the fire pit. Always family time at this cabin.
Nice cabin and with beautiful view of waterfall. Only drawback to this property is the 3/4 mile drive from main road to the cabin. If it is snowing or raining hard, I would recommend a 4 wheel drive vehicle.
This was our second stay at the Blue River Cabin. It is a lovely, private spot in the woods that feels "off the grid" but offers electricity, plumbing and high speed internet! My family had a wonderful time fishing in the river. Thank you for allowing us to vacation in your delightful cabin!
So many things to mention…fishing and playing in the river, relaxing on the porch, roasting marshmallows by the fire, enjoying the privacy and seclusion of the property (we literally saw no other people while we were there), fully stocked kitchen, linens provided. I could go on and on. We will definitely be back to Blue River Cabin! Thank you for sharing your place with us!
OFF THE GRID. 1 mile driveway leads to your own personal mountain cottage right next to a beautiful creek with three waterfalls house is well appointed even some extra kitchen items that were super helpful during our stay. Driving back out to the grocery store is a solid 45 minutes thank you so much for the coffee filters, salt and pepper, extra seasonings, no dishwasher, except for yours truly, but all other kitchen appliances provided were amazing. Bidets in both bathrooms should be mentioned as they surprised us. Would definitely recommend home and have already sent the listing to multiple friends.
My husband and I stayed for a long weekend. The cabin was about 40 minutes from the track, though it is only about 10 miles away. The accommodations were exactly as listed, comfortable, and the sound of the water was incredibly relaxing. You are not super close to anything so ensure that you have your food and other staples with you before making the trek to the house (20 - 25 minutes to grocery stores). Everyone that we met was so kind and helpful! Definitely a great example of southern hospitality.
Our family had an awesome time down by the river. The cabin was very clean. An excellent place to connect with nature. Will definitely go back next summer.
Loved this property! Definitely plan on going back. The river is amazing. Super private and secluded. Shared the cabin with a few harmless bugs (moths and such) because it is solidly in the forest, but they never bit or were much of a bother. Great amenities and easy directions!
Great cabin! Great peaceful, isolated location with wonderful scenery! Only negative is driveway is rough, especially since we didn’t have “mountain vehicle”.
The location is great! We were right next to the creek and got to walk along side and wade in the cool water. The inside was very nice and cozy so my friends and I were able to relax. The kitchen was very nice. Overall we had a very nice stay and would highly recommend this place! Just an fyi, the bedrooms on the upper floor don’t have doors, but they worked just fine for us.
The listing is very deceptive, when we walked in there were cobwebs and stuff covering the floor. We had to sweep just to walk without shoes. When we went to take a shower upstairs it smelled like the inside of a barn, they also have an ant problem and it happens to be over that shower. When we couldn’t get into the first gate, it took 3 plus hours to get a response from the host. The only good thing about the property is the closeness to the creek. I wish the best of luck to anyone trying to stay here in the future and hope the hosts do a better job with proper upkeep.

When we first saw this cabin and its surroundings we were stunned by the beauty and magnificence there. It looked like something you would only see in a painting. It is truly a hidden paradise that we have found.

The energetic river is very soothing to gaze at and to listen to. The motion of the river seems to relax the mind, body, and soul. Truly a unique part of staying at our cabin.
