Take your next vacation in the Texas Hill Country to this fantastic home in Lago Vista. Nestled on the hillside of Lake Travis, you'll enjoy all the comforts of home, including a spacious, furnished deck with a gas grill for summer barbecues, as well as a game room with a pool table, Ping-Pong, and darts. There's even a firepit where you can gather each evening to share stories of the day's adventures.

Lake Travis is just outside your door (but please note that this home does not have direct lake access). You can head across the water to Pace Bend Park to go cliff diving, mountain biking, climbing, or hiking. The town of Lago Vista, home to numerous shops, restaurants, and the Lago Vista Golf Course, is only two and a half miles from the house. Or, pack the car for a day trip to the bustling city of Austin, 37 miles away.

The home was so spacious! We had ample room for eating and hanging out for 8 adults. The beds were comfortable. It was a great house. The only negative was the incline of the driveway. So steep!

Nice property

The property was amazing and perfect for our family. It was nice to have the pool table. There is an electronic dart board but they didn’t have the correct darts so we couldn’t use it. The fire pit was very nice also.

Thanksgiving 2022

The place is nice (very similar to what is posted). However, the dishwasher wasn’t working so I spent most of my time hand washing the dishes after each family meal (instead of the family bonding that I wanted to do this holiday). The location is a bit far from groceries so planning for supplies is a must.

Great location, property could use some updates

Loved the location and the layout, but the house could use some TLC, there were a couple broken cabinet doors and the yard was in need of maintenance. There was only 1 dart for the dart board, and several pool cues were missing tips. Overall this was a good property that met our needs, if we had a longer stay, these minor inconveniences would have more of an impact, but for our weekend stay, these were really minor and had very little impact.

Lake House

It was an amazing house. Great for entertainment but there is no access to the lake or any body of water for more than a 30-minute drive. The description of the property says just a short walk to the lake however unless you plan to illegally enter the lake without a pass and after a 20-minute walk in the woods then... The gas grill did not cook our steaks so we had to cook inside. I know now that this house is only for entertaining and the amazing view.

Great home...a few things missing

The house and view are fantastic! Exactly as described. There is no lake access which is not explicity spelled out until you rent it. If that is a deal breaker, move along. I did find the house laking in some of the extra details that usually available in places like this. Very limited cleaning supplies, very limited amount of kitchen "extras." The only thing beyond pots and pans had obviously been left there by previous people. With some extra touches the house would be 5 start worthy!

This house had a great layout and view. We went on a family friends trip with our teens and the game room was a huge plus. We only had a few issues. There were a bunch of dead bugs on the windowsills that had not been cleaned off prior to our arrival. We got a house for this trip so we could save money and make meals there. The kitchen was not well supplied and a couple of dishes were not very clean. They had one 1 cup measuring cup and no measuring spoons. I found 1 small mixing bowl and 2 small cutting boards. There were only 2 small skillets so it was hard to make enough food at once to feed everyone. When getting out of the secondary shower on the first floor, the entire shower curtain and rod fell down. The kids said that the downstairs rooms were warm and did not have ceiling fans so they couldn’t cool it off. The balcony off of the living room had a great view but needs some cleaning. The fans and pulls cords were covered in dead bugs. The fire pit was fun but we were not able to get any of the logs burn. We were able to gather enough twigs from the yard to get a fire going long enough to make s’mores. There is a dart board but you will need to bring some more darts. Overall it was not bad, and with a little TLC, it could be great.

Friends reunion

We had two families stay at this property while meeting up with a third that relocated to Austin. Chris (local property manager) was fantastic to work with, and made us feel at home before we even got there! The house was exactly what we were looking for & in a perfect location for both Austin excursions and lake days. (Noted…..the property itself does not have lake access & we didn’t expect any. Dink Pearson park is just up the road, and we also took advantage of local attractions).
