About this property

2 blocks to Starbucks on bustling and hip Freret Street corridor Uptown and less than a mile to Tulane University. Or, walk 1/2 mile to St. Charles Street car to ride to French Quarter. Immediate neighborhood is very safe with friendly neighbors. Carriage House is behind my home, so I'm on site if you need anything. Everything inside is brand new as of March 2019.

One Bedroom with a double bed, also a sofa bed and floor mattress included and laptop friendly workspaces.

Everything about the apartment was exactly as described. Location very convenient to dining, coffee, drinks and grocery store. Very cute neighborhood with plenty of east street parking.

Perfect Stay near Loyola, Tulane & Freret Street

I had a fantastic stay at this VRBO property! The location was ideal and just a short walk to Loyola and Tulane, with plenty of great restaurants and cafes on Freret Street nearby. The home was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with excellent kitchen facilities that made meal prep easy. The owner was incredibly nice and communicated well throughout my stay, ensuring everything was seamless. Highly recommend for anyone visiting New Orleans and looking for a comfortable, convenient place to stay!

Cute house, perfect location

We had a great stay at Courtney's place. It was walking distance from cute restaurants and shops on Freret and only a mile from Tulane, where we were visiting my daughter. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Courtney is super nice and easy to communicate with. We will definitely stay again.

The lair

The Lair was the perfect place for my son and me to stay while visiting New Orleans at Christmastime. The place was spotless, the beds were comfy and it was outfitted to have everything we could possibly need. Thanks to our host, we had the perfect Christmas with my daughter who lives just a few minutes away.

Worked out great!

This over garage apartment was cute, comfortable, well stocked and met all of our needs for an overnight stay in New Orleans. Would definitely stay here again. The queen size bed mattress is ok but not great. Apartment is in a convenient location for all New Orleans has to offer.

Exceeded all expectations

This apartment above the garage of a fabulous New Orleans home was exactly what I was looking for. It is clean and has great towels and sheets. Also it is more spacious than I expected. It has plenty of room for a couple of guests to come over for dinner and has a separate bedroom and a great little kitchen with everything you could need. I have already booked a future stay.

Freret Neighborhood

We really enjoyed our stay here. Great location, safe, off street parking, and in a nice neighborhood. Only consideration and perhaps I overlooked this, but the apartment is not handicapped accessible since everything is located on the second floor which requires you to climb a flight of stairs. Property owner is awesome and very accommodating! Great experience!

Little Gem in NOLA

The unit is an adorable two room apartment in a detached carriage house in a quiet neighborhood. Easy walking to Tulane and Loyola. The hostess is incredibly responsive. I stayed here while moving my daughter back to school. I will be back!
