Spectacular 3 bedrooms, 2 full bath home. Beautifully decorated and recently remodeled, large backyard with stunning sunset views of nature’s finest winter escape. Keep your eye out and you might see a playful dolphin swim by while you fish for snook, sheepshead, or redfish. Just a leisurely 10 min boat ride to direct Gulf of Mexico access!

We have changed our minimum stay to 7 days but LOWERED our nightly rates! Based upon our competition, a 7 days stay with us is LESS than a 4 day stay nearby! NEED SOMETHING MORE FLEXIBLE? The Master Bedroom contains a king sized bed, Second Bedroom contains queen size bed (with trundle twin size bed), the third bedroom contains a twin bed (with a trundle twin size bed), as well as a twin sleeper sofa. If needed, there are two queen blow up mattresses! Every bedroom has a closet, plus there is a washer & dryer on site. Fully equipped kitchen with bar stools at the counter and a dining room table to sit and enjoy dinners with your family! Enjoy the T.V. with cable & Internet as well as WiFi on lazy days. This unit also comes with a private driveway, garage, 1 bicycle, 1 tandem kayak, 1 single kayak and two paddleboards.

Sit on the back porch next to the fire pit and relax with a glass of your favorite wine and enjoy watching the sunsets. Or sit on the dock with your feet dangling in the water. Or go kayaking towards the sunset! We provide kayaks and paddle boards if you don't have your own. Kick your flip-flops off and have an amazing, beautiful time at Dolphin Cove Getaway!

Pets are restricted to one (1) per household and MUST be under 40 lbs. There is a pet application that will be emailed to you. You will need to provide proof from a Veterinarian that the pet vaccinations are up to date and a recent photo of the pet. Pet fee of $200.00 is PER PET. UNAUTHORIZED PET PENALTY IS $500.00 PER PET.

Great Spot! Hidden Gem!

We had a great time here! The house is spacious and had everything we needed. We took the kayaks/paddle board out everyday. Saw dolphin, and manatee... caught fish off the dock! Sunset view was amazing, and the canal access was quiet and calm. Like any good get away, we didn’t want to leave!

WOW!!! Awesome place to stay

We were pleasantly surprised to see the various wildlife! The different types of birds, squirrels, anoles, catching different types of fish from the dock behind the house. Seeing the SPECTACULAR 5 Dolphins and a manatee right from our dock! We enjoyed kayaks the bikes local ice cream shops great nearby restaurants. All in all very family friendly a great getaway!

Beautiful Sunsets and Dolphins

Just as described. Relaxing, simple check in and peace and quiet. Patio views are amazing - including the sunsets and the dolphins swimming past. Very friendly neighbor who made us feel welcomed and at home. Wonderful experience!

Family Vacation 2023

Our stay was perfect. The house was everything we could have asked for. We spent a lot of time on the dock fishing and kayaking. Sweetest neighbors and a very quiet neighborhood. We seen manatees and dolphins from the back dock!! We will definitely be booking here again. Thank you for everything!

Dolphin Cove Vacation

Our stay was a very good experience in a nice area. The location on a canal was a plus. We were greeted one morning by dolphins traveling through the canal. The property manager was helpful and available for any questions or needs. Plenty of stores available, as well as plenty of good restaurants. There are close by attractions, or you can just relax out back on the patio and enjoy the Florida weather. Great place to take a winter break.

Great property

All was as described. The property has plenty of room and is well stocked with essentials. Our boat was easy to dock and the launch is not too far away. We found a great deli nearby with prepared meals and a great selection of meats (no seafood though). This home is the best cost / amenities we have found in the Hudson area on the water.

Relaxing stay!

It was great for our family of four. We loved the backyard, right on the canal. It was a great place to sit and relax or use the dock and paddleboards or kayaks and enjoy the water. Note that one of the bedrooms doesn't have a door. Not a problem for us, but just make sure it meets your requirements. Bedding was comfortable and kitchen nice and well stocked. Everything was in working order and we really enjoyed it here. I walked most mornings and the neighborhood was friendly. Very nice stay!

Beautiful Home

My spouse and I stayed for the entire month of December and the home was well equipped with plenty of towels, dishes, pots, pans and pretty much everything we needed. Very peaceful and quiet area with great view to bird watch in the backyard. There was even a manatee in the canal. The next door neighbor Rick is a fantastic guy and very welcoming. Had great communication with Larry and was quick in responding to any of our needs. Highly recommend this home.

Scalloping

Except for issues with the house staying cool in the afternoons we thoroughly enjoyed it. Record heat levels during the days we were there didn’t help. Bring a fire stick though, the cable system is not user friendly.

NIce peaceful waterfront property

House was on canal that led out to gulf and Hudson beach area. lots of toys for use (kayaks, paddleboards, bikes, etc). nice hammock and patio area. way too hot most days to enjoy the backyard. house well equipped with linens and kitchen gear. has a fire ring and gas grill we did not use, too HOT! beautiful decor. huge kitchen and gathering area. one bedroom does not have any walls/doors for privacy-- there are screens you can use. main bedroom suite had door and so did the twin daybed room. TV in main bedroom and out in living area. laundry room well equipped. close to Walmart and other shops/food. nice location. thank you.

Sunny Relaxing Retreat

We really enjoyed our stay at the beautiful Dolphin Cove home. It was spacious, very comfortable, bright, and tastefully decorated. The canal was awesome — every day we saw many interesting birds, dolphins and manatees! We loved sitting outside on the patio as well. Unfortunately, there is a safety issue with the dock. There was only one wobbly handrail, the other was laying in the yard. In addition one of the cables that attach it to the sea wall broke during a storm and high tide and the ladder pulled out of the rotten deck boards as well. I am hopeful that the owner will be able to have the dock replaced / repaired as soon as possible so it is safe for everyone. Overall, though, we had a wonderful stay at this lovely, well-appointed home.

Perfect Hub for all FLA Gulf coast adventures

Dolphin Cove was the perfect rental for our recent family vacation. Amenities galore, kayaks, bikes, paddleboards, dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, stove, oven, fridge, TVs, Cable and COFFEE MAKER... all the essentials for a fun-filled vacation, home away from home. Everything you can think of was supplied. Less than 1 mile to shop for food etc. Centrally located to many of the popular gulf coast attractions in the Tampa area. Our teenage son attended wakeboarding camp 5 mins from house. We visited Wikki Wachee Spring State Park, New Port Richey, Tarpon Springs and Clearwater Beach. Fished right off the dock in backyard and even saw manatees and dolphins there too. Easy access to Gulf. Sunsets were amazing, especially at Hudson Beach. Communication with property manager was super easy and they were quick to respond Plenty of room for large families. Would 100 percent recommend. Thank you for a much needed respite from the hustle and bustle.

Loved this place!!

We just loved this place!! My boyfriend and I enjoyed a week in paradise at this sunny, beautiful cottage. It’s newly remodeled so everything is freshly painted and is super clean. All the beds are comfy and the kitchen is huge! The beachy décor is perfect and the kayaks and paddle boards are so much fun and easy to put in right off the dock. At night, when it was cool, we opened up the windows for the sea breeze and sat by the fire with wine and listened to all the birds and animals around. Getting to the sand bar is super simple and is short ride at idle speed by boat. Canal is deep enough for boats with drafts under three feet for sure, and docking is no problem. Our boat drafts 18in with motor down. Snook and Sheepshead are all around in the mangrove sanctuary. We had the best time here and will definitely come again. On Canal

We loved that the home was on a canal and had a dock. The negatives outweighed the positives for me and we left early. There were ants everywhere, even got into our food, the no-see ems were horrible and stopped us from sitting outside, we are from Daytona and not used to this. There is nowhere to go to get out of the weather so if you want to grill or try to sit outside there is no shade or umbrella. The living room tv got about 4 channels that we could figure and the bedroom was Roku and we didn’t understand it, we are older and are used to cable.

Dolphin Cove 11/22

We enjoyed our month long stay. The neighborhood was nice and quiet yet close to everything we needed. We enjoyed the back yard watching a variety of birds and jumping fish. The highlight was seeing a dolphin pass by in the canal on the first morning. We didn't like the noseeums but they sure liked us. Overall it was a very pleasant stay. Thank you

Hudson Rental

Listing was great; host was available and answered promptly. The only issue we had with the property was the bugs (even with ant traps out, we still had ants) and the bugs at night made going into the backyard unbearable.
