Turn down a tiny street off the Rue Meynadier and on the corner on the third floor you will find our charming little loft apartment. Everything brand newly done and just finished, there are oak floors, lovely high ceilings and windows all around, meaning the apartment is lovely and light. Being on the corner it is dual aspect. There's a little balcony where you can have your morning coffee looking out over a roof garden opposite. There is a smart TV, Apple TV and free Wifi. In the generous sized bathroom there is both a beautiful stone clad shower & a claw footed bath for luxurious soaking as well as lots of cupboard space and a dressing table. The 53m2 loft is ideal for one person, a couple or two friends. There is a king sized bed upstairs in the bedroom on the mezzanine level. There is also a brand new good sized double sofa bed in the living room, although be aware that if you have guests sleeping on it they will have to cross the corner of the bedroom upstairs to use the bathroom - so really only recommended if you are good friends or family.
Smart TV, Apple TV, Wifi, hair-dryer, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, cooker + induction hob, washer/dryer, dishwasher, kettle, Mitsubishi air conditioning and heating, Bosch fridge/freezer, iron & ironing board, umbrella ( it usually rains during the film festival at some point!).
We live only half an hour away so are always on hand to help or advise. We can meet you at the bus stop or the station if you need us to take you to the apartment.
We have poured our hearts into making our little loft a warm welcoming unique and luxurious place to stay right in the heart of old Cannes, so we hope that people will respect it and enjoy it as much as we do. We want it to feel like the most fabulous and comfortable private hotel suite.
The apartment is on the 3rd ( top ) floor of a small building ( Three flats including ours ). There is no lift - although the stair flights are wide and short so it doesn't feel too bad at all. Unfortunately therefore not suitable for wheelchairs.
PARKING: opposite the front door of our building is the pedestrian exit to the Parking Ferrage - a secure public car park with very favourable rates if staying for a while eg €72,70 for seven days or €139 euros for 30'days ( 1 month ). You can book your parking space in advance. You can park right next to the pedestrian exit and you literally cross the tiny road and you're in our building - so VERY convenient for loading / unloading your bags into the apartment and also extremely quick & easy access to your car if you're using it. The first hour in the car park is free - so if you didn't want to pay any parking fees during your holiday or you're not going to be using your car during your stay in Cannes you could park there for one hour to load / unload your bags and then take your car to one of the free car parks ( eg at the Point Croisette ) and leave the car there for the duration of your stay for free. However the Parking Ferrage is extremely convenient for our apartment.
No pets. No smoking.

My husband Guy and I live in a little hilltop village in the South of France and just bought and renovated this beautiful little loft apartment in Cannes right in the old part of town near the port and love using it ourselves. We are excited to be able to rent out the apartment and very happy to let others have the chance to experience the best that Cannes has to offer from a comfortable and luxurious base that is close to everything. I am an artist who loves film, TV, the sea, reading, swimming pools, after dinner games, people, laughing and food! and chocolate!! There is a cinema right round the corner from the flat which shows the latest films in English, and countless restaurants and bars at your fingertips. We love going to Cannes for a taste of the sea and the beach and a bit of retail therapy! The famous bustling marche Forville is heaven for buying fruit and veg and getting a real friendly flavour of France. We also love to rummage in the bric a brac market on Mondays to try to discover a hidden treasure! We sit outside the patisserie drinking coffee and eating croissants and watching the most fascinating characters go by. We will do everything we can to make your stay as special, comfortable and easy as possible. My motto in life is to smile and the world smiles back at you.
Why they chose this property
We bought this apartment because we've been living in the countryside nearby for nearly twelve years now, and had been coming into Cannes to go to the beach the shops and the cinema and get a little taste of the metropolitan life we had left behind in London! I had often thought how nice it would be to be able to stay the night and not have to drive home on the motorway. We looked at lots of apartments in Cannes - all near to the port and the Rue d'Antibes and the action - and as soon as we walked into this apartment we knew it was for us. It just had a lovely feeling - very light with double height ceilings and lots of windows and some french doors out onto a little balcony - it is on the 3rd floor but looks out over two roof gardens so you see greenery when you look out of the windows. The bathroom / dressing room is also exceptionally luxurious and generous sized - very nice for anyone staying for the festivals - and it is so central and near to the Palais des Festivals - you can run home and have a shower and change and be back before anyone has noticed you have gone!
What makes this property unique
We also love the fact that the apartment is located right off the fantastic Rue Meynadier and the Marche Forville - there are little cobbled streets and adorable shops and delicatessens, one of the best chocolatiers in France, and so many bars and restaurants, and all just a hop from the port and the beach. If you don't have a car it doesn't matter at all - everything is right on your doorstep - an easy walk to everything. If you do have a car the apartment is right by the pedestrian exit to a public underground car park ( parking Ferrage ) so couldn't be easier. There are special rates for long term parking ( €72,70 for seven days and €139 euros for 30 days ( 1 month ) ). You are also within easy walking distance to the train station, - straight along at the end of the road ( about 4 minutes walk ), also the bus station and taxi rank and express bus to the airport is also about 2 minutes walk from the apartment. Around where the apartment is it all feels like a very friendly village.
