Turn down a tiny street off the Rue Meynadier and on the corner on the third floor you will find our charming little loft apartment. Everything brand newly done and just finished, there are oak floors, lovely high ceilings and windows all around, meaning the apartment is lovely and light. Being on the corner it is dual aspect. There's a little balcony where you can have your morning coffee looking out over a roof garden opposite. There is a smart TV, Apple TV and free Wifi. In the generous sized bathroom there is both a beautiful stone clad shower & a claw footed bath for luxurious soaking as well as lots of cupboard space and a dressing table. The 53m2 loft is ideal for one person, a couple or two friends. There is a king sized bed upstairs in the bedroom on the mezzanine level. There is also a brand new good sized double sofa bed in the living room, although be aware that if you have guests sleeping on it they will have to cross the corner of the bedroom upstairs to use the bathroom - so really only recommended if you are good friends or family.

Smart TV, Apple TV, Wifi, hair-dryer, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, cooker + induction hob, washer/dryer, dishwasher, kettle, Mitsubishi air conditioning and heating, Bosch fridge/freezer, iron & ironing board, umbrella ( it usually rains during the film festival at some point!).
We live only half an hour away so are always on hand to help or advise. We can meet you at the bus stop or the station if you need us to take you to the apartment.
We have poured our hearts into making our little loft a warm welcoming unique and luxurious place to stay right in the heart of old Cannes, so we hope that people will respect it and enjoy it as much as we do. We want it to feel like the most fabulous and comfortable private hotel suite.
The apartment is on the 3rd ( top ) floor of a small building ( Three flats including ours ). There is no lift - although the stair flights are wide and short so it doesn't feel too bad at all. Unfortunately therefore not suitable for wheelchairs.
PARKING: opposite the front door of our building is the pedestrian exit to the Parking Ferrage - a secure public car park with very favourable rates if staying for a while eg €72,70 for seven days or €139 euros for 30'days ( 1 month ). You can book your parking space in advance. You can park right next to the pedestrian exit and you literally cross the tiny road and you're in our building - so VERY convenient for loading / unloading your bags into the apartment and also extremely quick & easy access to your car if you're using it. The first hour in the car park is free - so if you didn't want to pay any parking fees during your holiday or you're not going to be using your car during your stay in Cannes you could park there for one hour to load / unload your bags and then take your car to one of the free car parks ( eg at the Point Croisette ) and leave the car there for the duration of your stay for free. However the Parking Ferrage is extremely convenient for our apartment.

The communication was great from the first moment. I was met upon arrival and given an explanation of everything. They kindly provided some bread, butter, jam and coffee. The apartment was very comfortable with lots of storage and it was quiet too. I would certain rebook and other time.

Amazing Apartment in the Heart of Cannes!!!!

Thanks to our wonderful host Clare we had the most amazing stay in Cannes. The apartment was wonderful, with all of the amenities we needed. Clare was such an amazing help, helping with everything from our airport transfer to tips on great places to eat and shop. The apartment was located on a quaint quiet street and was very secure. The market was just steps from the front door and beach a very short walk. The apartment was clean, well maintained and very well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. We would highly recommend this property to anyone and definitely will be coming back again! 5 stars all the way!!!

How clever of me, to describe in the title, our beautiful loft and wonderful experience. What’s not to love? The property was beautiful, a roomy flat, four easy floors up, everything in spiffy order, modern, well equipped with everything. As for “location, location, location”, it’s literally steps away from the market, the port, and the glittering shopping/clubbing/restaurant area. And yet, it’s placed in a quiet car-free area so you can retreat from all the excitement and rest up to begin enjoying Cannes again. I’ve saved the best till last and that would be our hosts: Clare and Guy are as attentive and friendly as can be, particularly Clare who damned near adopted us. If this sounds like a gushy paid commercial so be it, but this entire experience with the property meant we could truly enjoy a dream vacation.

If like us you feel that the quality of where you stay is a fundamental part of a great holiday, look no further than Clare's apartment in Cannes.. It's a very clever loft conversion, which she has decorated and furnished with exquisite taste, and equipped with everything you could need. She's also a fine artist and a large canvas of a Jack Russell smiles down at you in the sitting room. The locality is equally perfect - right in the heart of Cannes, five minutes from the marina and its superb sandy beach, two minutes from a fabulous covered market, and with a zillion eating options on your doorstep. Sadly we didn't get to meet in person, but she was very responsive to questions, and her lovely house manager showed us the ropes when we arrived. We have stayed in countless owners' properties over the years, and this is right up there with the very best. Huge thanks Clare.

Wonderful location- cute apartment

My wife and i stayed at the apartment for a week in early August and we thought it was wonderful. It's very close to the Ferrage car park and very convenient to arrive. It is also very close to the market to buy things to cook a nice dinner if you felt so inclined ( we ate out every night for a couple week so it was nice to have a basic home cooked meal with delicious farm fresh ingredients). It is also very central to the cute street shops of Cannes. It's not super close to the beach but an easy walk for 10mins. The two downsides to the apartment would be that it's on the 3rd floor ( 4th floor for Americans), and the air conditioning doesn't keep the bedroom area the same temperature as downstairs ( it's a lofted bedroom). It was a bit of an issue the first night given how hot it was, but it was fine thereafter.

Sehr schöne Wohnung, super gelegen, sehr kurze Wege in der Stadt und zu den Stränden. Klimaanlage ist perfekt eingestellt und kann einfach durchlaufen, das hatte ich so noch nie.Auf einen kleinen Schaden (Wasser tropfe von der Klimaanlage auf den Balkontisch) hat die Vermieterin sofort reagiert und noch für den gleichen Tag einen Handwerker organisiert. Perfekt!Das Parkhaus ist auch zu empfehlen. Liegt direkt gegenüber der Wohnung. Einfach reinfahren und dann das Ticket tauschen für den ganzen Zeitraum, dann kann man raus und wieder reinfahren so oft man will.

Die Wohnung ist sehr zentral gelegen und sehr schick eingerichtet. Genausso, wie auf den Fotos abgebildet. Beim Check-in hatten wir sogar ein paar Grundnahrungsmittel im Kühlschrank und ein Baguette; das war sehr aufmerksam. und hat uns sehr gefreut. Wir würden die Wohnung wieder buchen.

Clare was marvellous to deal with. She was both responsive and accommodating. The flat is beautifully designed and decorated and very clean. It is extremely well equipped including everything you need to enjoy your stay right down to a beach umbrella. The welcome package of wine, beer bread butter and other items was a pleasant surprised ang very much appreciated. Even though the flat is in the heart of Cannes it was very quiet. We not hesitate to recommend Clare’s flat to anyone wishing to stay in Cannes

No Better Place in Cannes!

This was our second year at this condo, which is immaculate and cozy. It also comes with your initial supplies (milk, water, fruit, bread/croissants, wine, chocolate, tea, coffee) so you don't have to run out to the store first thing. However, everything your heart could desire is right around the corner:) The Location is PERFECT and you are just a couple blocks from the train so you can fly into Nice and take the train down and then travel by train, bus or boat to all of the locations you want to see. The harbor is only a couple blocks away too! We used UBER and the train to get everywhere! Happy to talk with anyone live if you are thinking about going. Just ask Clare for my number. She is a great host and is there for any questions you have.

A stunning penthouse so close to everything!

Clare & Guy are the consummate hosts and welcomed us to their beautiful apartment by meeting us in the middle of a very rare thunderstorm with umbrellas in hand. Nothing was too much bother for them and their care and attention to detail is prevalent throughout their property. We are annual visitors to Cannes and can’t beleieve we haven’t found this little gem before - it really is a haven of tranquility amongst the hustle and bustle of a busy TFWA convention that we were attending. A haven of peace and tranquility right in the centre of Cannes!

This loft is absolutely perfect. It is equipped with everything one could possibly need and is so beautiful that, had the weather been poor, we could have quite happily stayed in for days. Our stay was in July though, so weather wasn’t a problem! The loft is ideally situated as a base for all types of activities; there are excellent beaches a short stroll away, together with fantastic restaurants, galleries, cinemas and shops. The railway station is very handy too, so if you fancy exploring further afield, there are regular trains to Antibes, Nice etc. Clare is the perfect host. She provided detailed information which enabled us to park our car in a handy space in a parking garage very close to the apartment. She responds quickly to any enquiry and is delighted to offer recommendations and suggestions based on her knowledge of the local area. If you are looking for a luxurious and quiet place to return to after a hard day sun-bathing, exploring, learning, eating or shopping, look no further - you’ve found your property!

Best VRBO ever!

You cannot begin to believe how great this place is. Best Location, Beautiful, Clean, Everything you need in the kitchen and bath to get you started so you don't have to run out the minute you get there. Super restaurant recommendations and a VERY QUICK walk from the train station, so you don't need a car. Uber was available to get you out to the surrounding villages if you prefer. Antibes, which is one of my favorite places in the whole world is a 10 minute train ride which leaves a few times each hour every day. You can fly into Paris or Nice and take the train here. There is no need for a car! Clare was available for any questions and always very responsive and helpful. We have rented over 24 different places and I will say this is one of the VERY BEST! I hope you get a chance to enjoy it someday.

My husband Guy and I live in a little hilltop village in the South of France and just bought and renovated this beautiful little loft apartment in Cannes right in the old part of town near the port and love using it ourselves. We are excited to be able to rent out the apartment and very happy to let others have the chance to experience the best that Cannes has to offer from a comfortable and luxurious base that is close to everything. I am an artist who loves film, TV, the sea, reading, swimming pools, after dinner games, people, laughing and food! and chocolate!! There is a cinema right round the corner from the flat which shows the latest films in English, and countless restaurants and bars at your fingertips. We love going to Cannes for a taste of the sea and the beach and a bit of retail therapy! The famous bustling marche Forville is heaven for buying fruit and veg and getting a real friendly flavour of France. We also love to rummage in the bric a brac market on Mondays to try to discover a hidden treasure! We sit outside the patisserie drinking coffee and eating croissants and watching the most fascinating characters go by. We will do everything we can to make your stay as special, comfortable and easy as possible. My motto in life is to smile and the world smiles back at you.

Why they chose this property

We bought this apartment because we've been living in the countryside nearby for nearly twelve years now, and had been coming into Cannes to go to the beach the shops and the cinema and get a little taste of the metropolitan life we had left behind in London! I had often thought how nice it would be to be able to stay the night and not have to drive home on the motorway. We looked at lots of apartments in Cannes - all near to the port and the Rue d'Antibes and the action - and as soon as we walked into this apartment we knew it was for us. It just had a lovely feeling - very light with double height ceilings and lots of windows and some french doors out onto a little balcony - it is on the 3rd floor but looks out over two roof gardens so you see greenery when you look out of the windows. The bathroom / dressing room is also exceptionally luxurious and generous sized - very nice for anyone staying for the festivals - and it is so central and near to the Palais des Festivals - you can run home and have a shower and change and be back before anyone has noticed you have gone!

What makes this property unique

We also love the fact that the apartment is located right off the fantastic Rue Meynadier and the Marche Forville - there are little cobbled streets and adorable shops and delicatessens, one of the best chocolatiers in France, and so many bars and restaurants, and all just a hop from the port and the beach. If you don't have a car it doesn't matter at all - everything is right on your doorstep - an easy walk to everything. If you do have a car the apartment is right by the pedestrian exit to a public underground car park ( parking Ferrage ) so couldn't be easier. There are special rates for long term parking ( €72,70 for seven days and €139 euros for 30 days ( 1 month ) ). You are also within easy walking distance to the train station, - straight along at the end of the road ( about 4 minutes walk ), also the bus station and taxi rank and express bus to the airport is also about 2 minutes walk from the apartment. Around where the apartment is it all feels like a very friendly village.
