My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We loved watching the boats come in while sipping our morning coffee. We observed changing weather patterns and seabirds and even storm fronts from our living room window -- while never feeling cozier. This is a solidly built property! We slept soundly through the night and stepped out each morning to a working seaport with all you could need for shopping for your stay, including excellent restaurants, pastry shops, coffee shops, wine stores with gourmet staples, and even some little clothing shops. Our host, Geraldine, was very helpful with communicating specific instructions, recommendations for dinner and groceries, and great ideas for how best to navigate our visits to the Normandy beaches and Mont St. Michel. We had a bottle of wine waiting for us, a good supply of coffee and tea, a full kitchen with all the appliances, plenty of hot water for the shower (and bath!, which I used more than once.) The spotless, well-appointed flat was perfect, especially as we used the second bedroom as a large wardrobe, which was luxurious. The bedrooms are on the smaller side, so I recommend getting the two-bedroom flat so you can spread out comfortably. I would also point out that there are two flights of narrow, winding stairs up to this flat, which we managed quite well, even though we are both in our mid-60's and my husband had a knee replacement recently. And parking is right out front! We loved our stay! Geraldine was the best host.
