This is one of the nicest properties in all of Rotonda bordered by water on two sides. This beautiful 3 bedroom, 3 bath, 3 garage home has everything you are looking for. It is dressed to the nines with all new high end furniture including all leather electric couch/love seat/chair. You will be delighted with the gourmet kitchen, remote control electric blinds, and fabulous granite throughout the whole house. The outdoor kitchen is to die for with leathered granite counter tops, bar, sink, fridge and built in grill. Sunsets in the lanai are BREATHTAKING. The pool cage has been replaced with a locking fence and the lanai is now screened in as a result of hurricanes
We'd like to tell you a little bit about Rotonda West. This wonderful, private community is home to 5 golf courses, miles of bicycle trails, 30 miles of canals, and lakes and ponds are every where. The canal at the back of our property is frequently used for fishing, kayaking and boating. The Cape Haze Pioneer Bike Trail access point is a short block away. The southern part of Rotonda has been designated a bird sanctuary and there are many forms of wild life that live there. On any given day you will see the lovely egrets and ibis, gopher tortoises and turtles and armadillos. We are a short 15 minute drive to the beautiful Englewood beach. The beach at Englewood has fishing excursions, jet ski rentals, boat rentals and is great for sun bathing or just reading on the beach, listening to the water hit the shores. Dolphins are always a welcome sight. Englewood has lots of shopping, restaurants, and is home to the Lemon Bay Theater for live shows. Nearby Port Charlotte has even more shopping and restaurants and is home to the spring training camp for the Tampa Bay Rays, if you like to catch a baseball game. Rotonda West is close to so many fun activities and attractions yet is private enough so you can truly escape the busy-ness of home.
Included in the house rental you will find: 3 fishing rods, 3 sets of right hand golf clubs, 1 set of left hand golf clubs, (PFD), pool noodles and flutter board for the pool, two kayaks, beach chairs and umbrella, 2 high end bikes ( helmets are not included ).

This property is exactly as described. It is a beautiful home with all of the amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. Communication from the owner was excellent from the beginning to the end of our stay.
The house is perfect for two couples as there is another master and a door that shuts off that wing of the house to ensure even more privacy.
The house is tastefully decorated and has all of the modern conveniences needed. The pool area was our oasis after busy days out. The property is located by several beaches and close to shopping and restaurants.
I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you Kevin for being a great host.

Beautiful House & nice location Not so great owners
The house was exactly as advertised. The location is very residential, which we enjoyed. Close to grocery shopping & beaches. Gary, the pool/handy guy, suggested a beach, & it was perfect. Now for the down sides; the remotes for ceiling fans were difficult to set, the home thermostat constantly went up to 78 degrees and the microwave stopped working. Gary to the rescue, he brought over his spare microwave. We could have been fine without, not that we used the first one very often, but very nice of the gesture. All was good, until two weeks after we returned home, the home owner advised they were keeping our deposit to go towards a new microwave. What?! As owners they are being greedy. Unfortunately I do not see how we are responsible to pay any money for barely using an appliance over a 2 week span and we definitely did not cause the heat to stop working, it was a mechanical problem and not cause by any wrong doing. And seeing a class action law suit about that type & brand microwaves causing fires. Maybe the owners should look into the safety of appliances instead of giving untrue childish reviews about our family as guests! Obviously, the owners should reconsider renting their home to strangers. From day one I have heard complaints from them about previous renters: they increased the age of renters cuz they said the had problems with a younger couple trashing the house, changed to no kids welcome. We heard one family left water balloons everywhere, another family broke the screen patio. It seems almost impossible to please them. I would not recommend renting from the owners, but do recommend the area!

Hi Kelly
I am sorry to hear you had some problems with the remote control blinds. Our property manager would of been happy to show you how to operate them. Also the smart thermostat would have adjusted the temperature if it detected no one in the house. Gary, our property manager, told us you had the thermostat set to 68^ F with the sliding patio doors open. This would have frozen the compressor. Luckily the smart thermostat overrides this. Your electrical bill was double the expected usage for your 2 week stay which you were never charged for. Kelly you sent me an email saying our microwave oven had stopped working. I sent over Gary who replaced it with a temporary microwave oven. It was unfortunate that it broke and accidents do happen, I understand. The microwave electronics were damaged due to leaving some kind of metals inside the microwave and turned on. There was a very large bill incurred to replace this new built in microwave. It is most probable that one of your children was responsible for the damage. Kelly it is unfortunate that because of you we have now restricted renting our home to families without children. My wife and I have 7 children now grown up and feel badly about restricting our beautiful home that was perfect for young families.
Kelly there was a lot of damage caused by you family. It is truly sad that you never accepted any responsibility for the damages done.
In a gesture of goodwill I am refunding you your total damage deposit.
Kind Regards
Kevin &. Trish
