Denise was easy to communicate with, and she was a wonderful host. There were many thoughtful accouterments that made our stay pleasant. We enjoyed walking to the many shops and restaurants in the historic district from the house.
House is adorable and very well stocked with all the necessities for a comfortable stay. Denise is very accommodating and responsive. One of the best experiences we have ever had and the reason we return!
The cottage was clean and comfortable. It was well stocked for our stay. It’s location was convenient for visiting Beaufort and the surrounding area. It’s within walking distance to downtown Beaufort. We liked that bikes were available to use. The bikes were in decent condition and the Spanish Moss Trail was close enough to bike to it; the trail was a nice perk to the area. The only complaint to this rental was the condition of the outdoor grill. It needs a good cleaning. We ended up buying a cast iron pan instead of dealing with it. Grills in this humid environment are hard to keep clean, especially if not used often, so I wasn't too surprised, but something another renter might want to know if planning a grilled meal. Overall, this was a great place for a couple to stay for a visit. We especially appreciate that it is dog friendly.
Had a wonderful stay in this beautiful & cozy cottage. Denise is a wonderful host and replied to my emails within a few minutes. We will book with her again during our next stay.Thank you for being a wonder host!
We really enjoyed our time in this house. It was comfy, clean and really close to downtown Beaufort. The owner was very responsive. Can’t think of a thing that wasn’t great!
This was the second time I stayed in this cottage. We loved it both times. The host was wonderful and responded very quickly to any questions. Very easy walk to downtown and the waterfront. I would definitely recommend this cottage for a visit!!
The Pelican Cottage is located in the historic district and close to shopping and restaurants. The neighborhood was great for walking. The cottage was very pet friendly…complete with dog beds and treats! I would definitely recommend staying there!
We really enjoyed our stay here. It was in the perfect location: close to the beach, but far enough away we weren’t in the hustle and bustle of things. It also is one of the few places we’ve stayed at that was truly pet friendly; little details throughout the house such as a dog bed let us know that they would be comfortable. The property manager was extenely nice and we are looking forward to coming back!
This is the second time we have stayed at this cottage! It’s perfect for me, my husband and our two dogs. Very efficient house - has all the essentials for a comfortable stay. We love that it is located within the historic district. We take many walks! Access to great restaurants we walk to is also a plus! We will be back!
Very convenient, walkable getaway in a beautiful Southern town. Able to easily walk to restaurants, and other interesting places. Denise was easy to communicate with, and prompt with her replies. Thanks for letting us stay .
We had such a great stay at the Pelican cottage. Its location is fantastic with all sorts of Amenities around, but yet quiet and quaint.
The house was well stocked and the attention to detail was great to experience. We enjoyed the front porch and the games available.
