The dock, kayaks, and outdoor space will have you ready to relax all summer and into autumn as the water will still be warm enough to swim into September!

*About the Area* This home is perfectly situated! We sit just a mile and a half from the TART Trail, a 17-mile trail providing a paved connection between Traverse City and Suttons Bay. The trail is perfect for a walk, bike ride or morning run as it winds through picturesque forests, farms, vineyards, lakes, and ponds of northern Michigan.
Here, you’ll also be amidst Traverse City wine-country! Minutes away, you’ll find 20+ wineries on the Leelanau Peninsula alone. Just ask, and we can recommend a wine trail for you!
Lake Leelanau is one of the largest inland lakes in the Traverse City area, and includes two bodies of water, usually referred to as North Lake Leelanau and South Lake Leelanau. The home is on the southern shore. The lake covers over 8,000 acres and is easily accessible by boat as it offers two boat launches. Watersports are popular or you can just take a cruise up to the lakeside towns of Leland or Lake Leelanau for lunch. Fishing is excellent at all times of year and we even see lots of fish right off the dock!
Vacationers flock to this area of Traverse City to enjoy the scenic beauty, boating, quaint shopping and charm. Those who are new to the area can explore the nearby villages like Leland, Suttons Bay, Glen Arbor and Northport. Sites like Sleeping Bear Dunes can be visited for a day-trip, and there are numerous sandy beaches surrounding the bays and lakes.
Shopping can be found in downtown Traverse City as well as the cute shops in downtown Suttons Bay and Leland. Must-try restaurants also line the downtown Traverse - we’ll recommend our favorites before your arrival! The drive toward Traverse City is easy and through the country so you can avoid traffic as much as possible.
