You will love the Cowboy Cabin at Trails End Cabins & Motel in Hill City, the Heart of The Hills. Located just 2 blocks to downtown, you can explore many attractions, entertainment, shopping and dining choices – and just a short drive to the major Black Hills attractions: Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Needles Highway & the Cathedral Spires and Custer State Park.
The Cowboy Cabin is a great family cabin with (2) Bedrooms, Full Kitchen, Table/Chairs, (1) Private Bath with Shower off the Main Bedroom, Living Room, HDTV & Cable, A/C & Heat. (1) Queen Bed, (1) Full Bed. Front & Back Deck Chairs, Linens & Towels provided. No pets allowed. Max Occupancy: 4
Our resort has an overall laid back and quiet atmosphere. You can prepare meals on the gas & charcoal grills on the patio, then relax at the end of the day in our hot tub and/or share stories around the fire pit (we provide the firewood!). WiFi and a strong Verizon cell phone signal are available if you want to keep in-touch with your world.

In the fall of 2013, Trails End Cabins & Motel was purchased by Doug & Mary Klar.
Doug is originally from Dike, Iowa (just west of Cedar Falls) and is retired from the U.S. Navy. After a career in power generation, he now is enjoying the great outdoors! On any given day, you might find Doug fishing, hiking, golfing or riding the trails on his ATV. He enjoys cruising thru the hills on his Harley and is a member of the SD Patriot Guard & American Legion Riders. He is an avid sports fan and keeps close track of his favorite baseball, football and hockey teams.
Mary (Dailey) is originally from Jefferson, in the southeast corner of South Dakota. A graduate of the University of South Dakota, she has spent her career as an accountant for small businesses. She also enjoys all of the outdoor & sporting activities with Doug, as well as cooking, quilting, and keeping in touch with family & friends.
