Thanks for the great review and for choosing East West Hospitality. Glad the combination of location and the home itself made for a great stay—we’d be happy to have you back in Northstar anytime.
Everything about the room was great from check in to check out, great view overlooking the skating rink and huge master bedroom. Plenty of space for 6 adults and 4 young kids - but even if the kids were older/adults we still wouldn’t run out of space!

Thanks for staying with us and for the solid review. Glad the space worked well for your whole group—that’s exactly what this home is built for. The view over the skating rink is a nice bonus, and it’s good to hear the layout delivered plenty of breathing room from start to finish. We’d be happy to host you again on a future Northstar trip.
Short drive to downtown Truckee (great food), Incline Village (water sports) and Tahoe City (ropes course). Spectacular unit overseeing the village. Clean and tastefully decorated. Staff super professional and nice!

Hi Angie & THANK YOU! We're so glad you enjoyed the residence, location & our team's service. See you next time! :)
This condo is gorgeous. From the time the elevator door opened into the unit, we knew it would be a great week. Plenty of room to spread out. We had a family of 6 (all adult children, 28, 26, 24, 21) and we all had our own space. The kitchen was stocked great, the fireplace and balcony were awesome. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you...

You're very welcome, Amy & we're thrilled Great Bear 302 worked so well for your family. Stay together, play together is a lot of fun & this residence lends perfectly to that-- especially with all bedrooms having an ensuite bathroom. Thanks for choosing East West Hospitality, we hope to see you again soon.
The unit is large and perfect for a family ski trip. We love the large kitchen and dining table. The fireplace is very warm and cozy. We had one issue with AC but maintenance was quick to come over and fix it. The hot tubs are a short walk away and not very busy.
The skiing was good as always with very minimal crowds Monday-Friday. My only complaint is that the village seemed empty with very few open stores and restaurants. The ice skating was closed for the whole week. Someone said the Zamboni was broken but maybe they close it in March. Northstar used to give out s’mores in the village, but I think they got rid of that as well.
Overall a great stay, but we ended up driving to Truckee for food. Btw, Stella in Truckee was an amazing restaurant.

Hi David & thanks for taking the time to share your experience. We apologize for the lack of open shops & restaurants & can pass along your feedback to Vail Resorts who manages both (the ice skating rink as well). We're glad you had a nice stay all the same. Another great restaurant to try, next time you're in town, is Red Truck at the Truckee Airport. It's a lunch spot & well worth the visit.

Snow Storm
The village was pretty much shut down. Really unfortunate that the snowfall was so big that our trip was non existent for Christmas. Not even starbucks was open and grocery store finally opened for a bit. Heater was broken during Christmas and master bedroom got down to 62 degrees. It was fixed the day we left. To charge this amount of money when the people next to us paid half the amount we did for a bigger unit and we had not one service and the village was shut down and no reprieve. Really so sad as a past owner...

Hi Mishelle & thanks for your comments. You stayed during the biggest snow storm Tahoe has seen in decades which, of course, caused many headaches such as power outages, freeway closures, resort closures, trucks being unable to make deliveries which caused restaurant closures, no gas & so on. Despite these challenges, our team worked very hard to take good care of each guest & we apologize for the heat issue you encountered. It seems sometimes too much of a good thing (snow) can be too much of a good thing. :)
Beautiful property, great location and very convenient for skiing with kids.
There were numerous maintenance issues while we were there that were disappointing, but we felt like they were addressed in a timely manner and satisfied with the resolutions we were offered.
