Spacious, modern ranch-style house on 1.9 acres, atop a hill, with plenty of natural sunlight. Designed and decorated for a relaxing time in Woodstock, the home has an open and flowing layout. Conveniently located minutes from the center of town, it's perfect for those who want convenience to shopping and restaurants. A perfect home for a family getaway, work-from-home alternative or company retreat in the Catskills / Hudson Valley. Outdoor fire pit in the front yard!

IMPORTANT NOTE ON COVID19 - We are taking extra precautions to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations. Our cleaners wear gloves throughout the cleaning process and are only coming to work if they are fully fit.

The open layout makes the house versatile providing for many scenarios such as comfortable, convenient socializing or cozy, private relaxation. The office will give you the privacy and concentration you need to take phone and video calls or just simply get work done. You have ample outdoor space on the property. The fenced-in side yard has 4 Adirondack chairs and a picnic table. The patio has a gas grill and outdoor dining set. The front yard has an outdoor fire pit atop a rock outcropping.

Please keep in mind that this is our family home and we use it often when the house is not rented. Please treat the house well as we have put a lot of effort into designing and maintaining it.

Host was welcoming We had a few issues on arrival that were promptly taken care of. House was very clean but a bit sparse on items like tissues, body wash ( was hand wash) and no napkins. Layout was a little strange as Master Bath was totally across the house from Master Bedroom. In general it is was a comfortable house.

The home is large and beautifully decorated. It’s not your typical rental that’s slapped together and filled with cheap furnishings. This home is clearly a family home that was created with love and style. The location so close to town yet on a quiet street is perfect. Loved all the space both inside and out.

Great place

All the creature comfort of home, the little and personal, thoughtful touches of thoughtful owners, great location, and room to spread out. Add a jacuzzi, fire pit, grill, and, as I can’t say enough, thoughtful owners add up to a great experience.

The house was roomy and well equipped. Everything was clean except the bathroom behind the kitchen. There was hair in shower drain and mold in left corner. The large master bath was clean and all bedding was clean and comfortable.

Stunning Woodstock Retreat

We stayed at the house so that we could attend the New York State Sheep and Wool Festival this past weekend. This was easily this most beautiful rental I have stayed in; stunning, yet also very comfortable and home like. We especially appreciated the outdoor spaces and all of the beautiful windows! Both Susanna and Rick were very communicative when we had a minor issue. We are hoping to book this place again next year!

Lovely home

Beautiful location and well designed home. We were six women and we all loved your home and design touches. Just lovely. Could have used more pillows on the living room sofa- closest to the kitchen.

Spacious home

We were pleasantly surprised at the huge living space in this home. The yard offered very nice areas for sitting outside and enjoying the beauty of the area. the only knock would be that one of the full baths is on the opposite side of the house from the bedrooms.

Great fall weekend

Booked for a short fall weekend and was perfect for 4 adults. The house has plenty of space, was clean, and also stocked with nice things like soap and shampoo. The walk to Woodstock was easy, though you do have to cut through some grass or walk down the road. We had a fire in the fire pit one night which was very nice. They even supplied firewood. Overall very happy and would stay again!

Woodstock Paradise

An amazing home, so lovely, spacious and comfortable! The home was immaculate and cozy as well. We had a house of 5 people and there was more than enough space for each of us. Everyone loved their beds, including the futon. The spacious yard was so relaxing. The location distance to town was perfect. Most importantly, we all felt like were in our own home away from home. The five us of look forward to returning to this very house again in the future!

Pre wedding meet & greet

Rick’s place was perfect for our family. The open space and large rooms were just what we needed for assembling 80 gift bags for wedding guests. Quiet, peaceful and close to everything that we needed. Had a minor problem with the keypad but the property manager answered immediately. Thank you for the calm few days.

Spacious, immaculate home!

This property was perfect for our annual college reunion with our two friends of 50 years. The rooms were spacious and nicely appointed. Very close to town and within walking distance. The home was immaculate with a working fireplace that we very much enjoyed! The only drawback for me was my inability to get comfortable in the living room(s) seating. The deep cushions on both couches left me piling pillows behind my back for support. Chalk that up to age!!! Thanks for a lovely Woodstock experience!

Exceptional property close to town

As a venue to celebrate a big birthday milestone, my two friends and I found the property delightful in all ways. It was modern, clean, roomy, lightfilled and well appointed, and we loved having multiple sitting rooms to spread out. Management was responsive - there was a glitch with the code access that was quickly addressed. House features and town activities were communicated extremely well by the owners. Two small comments: the gravel driveway is pretty rutted and could use some work, and walking to town via the back road and schoolyard was not available due to school being in session. But those are small points merely offered as FYI. We would gladly stay again and/or recommend the property to others.

the name says it all: Relax in Woodstock

A spacious driveway (from 2 sides!), enter the house and let yourself be "captivated...". Spacious, bright, tastefully furnished and on a good technical level", this very briefly describes the first impression, which does not change even after a longer stay; rather it opens the view to many very tasteful details. There is no need to describe much when you feel like a welcome guest from the very beginning. We enjoyed "sharing" the house - just as it is - with Rachel and Rick and were always happy to "come home" after some really challenging hikes in the Catskills (especially parts of the Devils Path in winter!). We will be happy to come back...Thanks Rachel and Rick!

We’re a young family who live in New York and enjoy the Hudson Valley and particularly, the Catskills. We love this house and we think you will as well. You have privacy and close proximity to the town of Woodstock.

Why they chose this property

We think the Catskills and Hudson Valley are a ton of fun and we bought our house as a retreat for our immediate and extended family. The house itself was perfect for us. A ranch-style house with an open layout and variety of places to spend time with family and friends.

What makes this property unique

Less than 1 mile from the center of town with shops, restaurants and attractions. Privacy even though you are close to town. Work-from-home ready. Centrally located in Catskills for hiking, swim holes, skiing and other great outdoor activities. Very good mobile service. Across the street from golf course.
