The MacLeod is our other one bedroom cabin. A model of this cabin was written up in Log Homes Magazine. It has a stone fireplace, open ceiling, large porch and a deck. It accommodates a private hot tub, gas grill, and a pair of Amish rockers. The spacious eating area of the kitchen is surrounded on three sides by windows to take advantage of the views, sunrises, deer in the meadow below, the moon coming up over the mountain, etc. There is also an overhead fan mounted in the exposed beam, and antiques hanging from the wood ceiling.
It differs primarily from the MacDonald in that it has a loft bedroom that overlooks a natural fireplace, and the hot tub on the open part of the deck. As with all of our cabins, it is fully heated and air conditioned for your personal comfort.
Please be aware that our base rate is for double occupancy. Any guests over two need to be added prior to your reservation request.
The living room provides a Smart TV with Roku TV and a Blu Ray player. We also provide high speed internet via your own private, passworded network. Utilize the fully equipped kitchen to prepare whatever your talents or desires dictate.
Enjoy the hot tub on the lower deck of the porch. We also drain and clean the hot tub after every guest leaves. We only add a couple of 1" tabs of bromine (no other chemicals) to insure a pleasant guest experience. Ask our competitors what their policy is.
We strive to provide an atmosphere that is as warm and personal as your own home.
We are a "no contact" facility. There is no need to check in. You may proceed directly to the cabin. We live on the property but we sell privacy. We are available at any time.

We had a super tranquil visit to the cabin. It offered solitude and quiet which is exactly what we needed! The porch, view, and hot tub were ideal. The hose was readily available and answers all questions timely. We will return!
A great experience! Cabin was very secluded, romantic, and grounds were amazing. I would definitely recommend staying here. We had a very wonderful time celebrating our anniversary.

It was a pleasure to have you in our cabin. We are thrilled that you enjoyed your stay here.
Really awesome sits alone at end of property on a hill overlooking a mountain meadow with a hot tub and view…topped off by a real fireplace if the nights are cool. Really well kept and great communication with the owner/host!
We wanted a secluded place but not to far out to spend our 25th anniversary. This place checked all the boxes. We have decided that this will become an annual trip. Thanks to the owners for an amazing weekend!
The listing is up to date and accurate. Plenty of privacy, but so close to Blairsville, Murphy and so much more. There are plenty of quick hikes such as DeSota Falls!
The cabin was very cozy and the property offered the tranquility we needed. The property manager was extremely friendly and quick to respond. Our only regret is that we didn't have more time.
Everything was wonderful. Very clean place inside and out. It was thoroughly stocked with toiletries on arrival, too. The cabin is a bit off the road so it's very peaceful. We really enjoyed the wood fireplace and hot tub. The decorations in the cabin were unique and gave the cabin a home type feeling. We definitely would book again in the future!
The property and cabin was excellent Google maps took me right to the cabin And the property owner was there if I needed him With a fast call or text. Everything worked great. The hot tub the fireplace everything
My husband and I rented this cabin to celebrate Christmas Eve and Christmas Day together. This cabin is beautiful and very quiet. We loved the hot tub, of course! There was plenty of firewood to make a cozy fire and the kitchen had everything we needed. Just lovely! Thanks!

Thank you for your kind words. It was a pleasure to be of service to you.
We wanted a peaceful and quiet weekend getaway and that is exactly what we got. Even the power being out for a little while due to a storm wasn’t a bad thing. Our gracious host brought extra candles just in case we needed them…we didn’t because the power came back in but it was a kind gesture.
Quiet, quaint and clean! Would definitely stay again when a relaxing weekend getaway is in order. The hot tub was wonderful, and aside from a little dust here and there, the cabin was very clean. Kitchen has the basics, but if you plan on cooking (we didn't) you might want to bring a few of your personal essentials. My only real complaint is the water pressure in the shower, as it took a few minutes to rinse my hair. The cabin next door was occupied, and while it's very close, we never saw or heard another person our entire stay. All in all, a nice, relaxing weekend!
Overall was a great place with lots of deer roaming. Only issue I had was getting stung by a yellow jacket while laying in the bed. Coke to find out there was a nest down stairs in the window.
This is such a perfect lil cabin. We just loved it.so cozy and warm feeling.Everything was all there that we needed.Loved the wood burning fireplace! Those are so hard to find these days in cabin rentals. The front porch was lovely to sit on and look at all of the fall colors in the trees while drinking our coffee.Everyday,we were greeted by a family of deer at our cabin which was lovely.Whoever stays here will be so lucky and you will not want to leave.
