It was a very nice cabin,it was clean and secluded. It was a little to far off the road on a dirt road and I would definitely suggest a 4 wheel drive or truck, specially if bad weather or ran. It was a very nice cabin.

The property was just what we had expected. We lived the hot tub and he cozy feel of the living room with the fireplace on. The view from the deck was beautiful Sunday morning while it snowed.

Quiet out-of-the-way get-a-way

We spent several days and nights at Wendy Raines place 20 minutes from Boone. The cabin was clean and well appointed. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and gas fireplace. The leaves were already down during our stay in early November, to the hillside visible from the back deck wasn't spectacular, but the solitude and quiet was exactly what we were looking for. We would definitely stay again. Oh yeah, re. the advice to have an all-wheel or four-wheel vehicle- highly recommended!

Nice, Quiet, lovely getaway retreat

This was my very first time visiting NC mountains, or even staying in a cabin on a mountain.The cabin was fantastic- very clean, well decorated, and absolutely wonderful views from the deck. I would highly recommend this cabin if your looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway. 4-wheel drive is a plus to gain access to the cabin.

We loved everything about this cabin. It's by far the cleanest rental we have ever seen, the location was convenient and the views were spectacular. I can't recommend this place enough as a quiet home base to explore the Boone, NC area.

Cabin was just the right size...clean and comfortable. Hot tub was great. Mountain road is fairly rough...kinda makes you want to stay put once you're there...so bring plenty of food and bevs!

Charming cozy log cabin

Our first trip to the Boone area in a perfect mountain log cabin. It felt like home as soon as we walked in with the lovely fireplace and view of the mountains. The hot tub was so relaxing and enjoyable it became our daily routine. The kitchen was fully equipped, beds very comfortable, very spacious living area, beautiful view and extremely clean. The rocking chairs even had blankets, the owners have provided so many personal touches and comfort. A 4WD is an absolute as we received snow. What a great place to start the new year, we are already planning our return and highly recommend this rental to couples and families! Thank you for a great experience.
