This cabin is way more beautiful than the photos can even describe it. From the huge vaulted ceiling, plenty of bedrooms for everyone, and an amazing sunset every night, we really enjoyed our stay.

Thank you! You are right, pictures can't do that sunset justice. It never gets old. We're so glad you enjoyed your stay!
We were so happy to have found a place to sleep all 10 of us with plenty of room to spare. The location, views, and property are beautiful. We spent 90% of our time outside in the back yard swimming, playing yard games - there is so much space! I would go back in a heartbeat!

Thank you, Kayla! You all were wonderful and thanks for leaving the place so clean! I am so happy the weather allowed you to enjoy the yard and lake. We hope you come back!
Great patio, plenty of space, and secluded! The driveway in was one of our favorite features.
This cabin was great. We had a group of 8, including 3 kids aged 6, 8, and 10. The cabin was perfect for the group. There were plenty of beds for the adults and there was a loft with 3 twin beds for the kids. They loved having their own space and enjoyed bringing games from the game cabinet up there play away from the adults. The patio area and screen porch were awesome and a great place to enjoy some adult time after the kids were in bed for the night. The lake was great for swimming in, and the kids really loved the waves. It was pretty windy for a couple of the days that we were there and the waves were quite large, but that just made it more fun for them to play in. The boat lift was a definitely a huge help as well. We had a 14 ft fishing boat that we launched at the resort down the road and the lift was able to get it up and out of the way of the waves. We would definitely recommend this cabin, and will absolutely be looking to return in the future. We were disappointed that it was so warm out because we wanted to use the beautiful wood fireplace in the family room, but didn't need any more heat in the cabin! Maybe a winter return is in order and we can bring the snowmobiles up to hop on the trails that are literally at the end of the driveway!

Thank you, Mike and family! You were the perfect first VRBO renters for us. We are looking to add some fall and winter openings so maybe you can try out the fireplace, do some ice fishing, and take your sleds for a spin. :) Stay tuned!
This cabin is wonderful. Open concept layout, large well-maintained yard, lake views and private dock, and the best part is the screened in back porch facing the water, with a long table so everyone can enjoy it. Four bedrooms and two bathrooms (split between the two levels) AND a loft with extra beds makes it the perfect spot for a family vacation. The owners have thought of every little detail in making this a comfortable, cozy, and convenient place to stay. We enjoyed every second!

About the host
Hosted by Chris Lila
We purchased this cabin in 2015 as a getaway for our family. With three teenagers we wanted a place to have fun and relax while catering to our kids' various interests-and a place big enough to accommodate future extended family.
Chris is a teacher and Brad has the flexibility to work from home so we have had plenty of summertime fun at our favorite place on earth! We have made numerous improvements and renovations to the cabin and have a lot more plans in mind. Both Brad and Chris are avid Do-It-Yourselfers so if you choose to return you will probably find something new every time! New in 2019 were all the windows and the upstairs bathroom vanity. New in 2020 were several landscaping projects, some new appliances, and carpet. In 2021, we installed AC and the hardwood floors have been refinished. We also added a pool table. 2022 was a busy year and another kid in college so we took a DIY break. We have plans for 2023 though! We hope you enjoy our cabin as much as we do.
