First and most important….the property was very clean!!The view of the ocean is amazing! The property contained beach chairs, umbrella and towels making for a good time at the beach. A suggestion: changing the shower curtain to the washable cloth type rather than the plastic version would make for a better experience. Also, the drain in the bath/shower was extremely slow. We didn’t use the pool area, but it is well maintained and clean. We would definitely return to this property.

Mahalo for your review, Deloria! We're glad you enjoyed the home. We don't use cloth shower curtains because our tropical climate causes them to get moldy within days. You could have told us about the slow drain during your stay and we would have cleared it for you. We would love an other opportunity to host you!

The location was great and the views were fantastic. The bathroom could use a little updating-perhaps a walk-in shower.

Great unit with amazing views. The only thing they might add is another relaxing chair in the living room. Relaxing space is limited. An outdoor bistro table would be nice for outside dining. Overall a wonderful experience.

Birthday celebration

Everything was lovely apartment could use a screen door on main front door to attain a good cross breeze as there is no air conditioning, other apts had this. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly.

Mahalo for sharing your feedback with us! We're so glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay. We appreciate your suggestion about adding a screen door to enhance the airflow. Unfortunately, our hands are tied due to HOA regulations, but we will definitely keep this in mind and look for other ways to improve air circulation for our guests' comfort. Thanks again for your review, and we hope to welcome you back in the future!

Well kept and refreshing

Spacious, light, cool and airy interior. Was a great place to return to after a day in the sun. Hawaii climate is hard on metal so when you first walk in you’ll see a bit of rust on the door and fridge but in no way is it a reflection of the cleanliness of the place. 5-7 minute walk to Poipu and Brennecke’s. Right in between Shipwreck Beach and the Sheraton Beach. Super easy access to everything in Poipu. We were a family of 4 and it was perfect for us! We’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Mahalo nui loa, Megan! We're glad you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for your understanding regarding how our tropical climate will rust even so-called "stainless steel!" We hope you will stay with us again. We offer a 10% discount to repeat guests, and we'd love another opportunity to share our aloha!

Condo is dated. Needs bathroom and kitchen updates. One example would be Shower and tub faucets from the 1970’s. Along with just overall updating. Our mistake. Never rent a condo West facing with no air conditioning. Sun just beats down on this place. Makes it very uncomfortably Hot!

Mahalo for your review, Gary. We're a bit confused by your comments, since this is home was fully refreshed last year (2024), with new furnishings, decor, and appliances. Even so, we also don't understand why a perfectly functional tub or faucet should need to be replaced. Most homes on Kauaʻi aren't air conditioned, relying instead on open windows to allow the ocean breezes to flow through. The trade winds blow from east to west, right into this home.

No AC

The property correctly lists that there is no AC. Some of the other units in this complex do have window AC units. Adding one of those would change the experience. I thought it would be fine but the highs were mid 80s and it was hard to sleep at night.

Aloha! Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. It’s true that many properties in Kauai, including ours, do not have air conditioning, as the island often enjoys natural trade winds and a tropical atmosphere. We’re sorry to hear that the warmer temperatures impacted your stay, and we’ll certainly keep your thoughts in mind as we continuously look for ways to enhance guest comfort. Mahalo for staying with us, and we hope to welcome you back in the future!

Sweeping ocean view

We wish we could’ve stayed here our entire trip! Seriously. The views are outstanding high up on the cliff and being on the fourth floor you can see far and have a grand view of Brenneckes beach which is also a short walk to and there’s a puka dog counter with a sit-down restaurant and bar upstairs that we enjoyed. We didn’t see any whales but kept an eye out. I’m the opposite direction you can walk a few blocks and jump on a trail that follows the cliff all the way to Shipwreck beach and keeps going on the heritage trail. The unit was comfortable and cozy. I think the only thing missing was an ottoman on the patio to put your feet up. Oh and the water doesn’t take very good but there is a water bottle filling station near the elevator. Would stay again!

Amazing views

Just as promised it would be in the description, close to the beaches easy walk! The pool was lovely hardly anyone ever there pretty much had it all to myself. Having no AC with no problem as you get the beautiful wins in through the windows. Only two concerns the tub doesn’t drain well at all. This was addressed with property management at time of writing no response. All units had their windows open all the time there was some noise from adjoining units from other families. Aside from those two issues would absolutely recommend this place and those are just to make folks aware did not deter me from enjoying the space.

Mahalo for your review, Shauna! We're glad you enjoyed the home and its convenient location. You hadn't contacted us regarding the slow drain until the evening of your departure, but we did send a plumber the next day and the drain was fixed. The home is located in a residential condominium complex, so there are be neighbors. We hope you'll visit our beautiful island again!
