A dreamy week in paradise

My girlfriend and me spent a week here, surfing and soaking the Algarve sun while enjoying 3 days of smart working as well. The structure is positioned straight in front of the beach, you literally cannot be closer to the beach than this. Furniture is basic but extremely functional and everything works more than fine to sustain all the needs. Useful info to give to newcomers we did not notice before visiting are that bathroom and shower are located outside the main area (you have to access a different area after a very small walk outside of the main house). Also, the entrance of the house is located at the end corner of a big corridor where a restaurant is located; they have just opened and a bunch of very nice and collaborative people works there. Going in and out - especially with a surfboard in hand - is not always easy when the restaurant is full, but the vibe is always chilled and we never experienced issues. Antonio, the owner, is always available for assistance and support; very polite and gentle, he was always available to clarify doubts or giving instructions during our stay. We loved every single day of our stay over there and really hope to come back soon, there are no many other places on earth like this!

Perfeito! A casa é pequena, como é perceptível pelas fotografias, mas extremamente acolhedora e estava muito limpa. A localização é inigualável. O Sr. António foi sempre super prestável e disponível, embora não tenhamos tido qualquer problema durante a nossa estadia. Adorámos e voltaremos com certeza!

Super Surfappartment direkt neben dem "Restaurante da praia" (Eingang durch das Restaurant). 2 kleine Schlafzimmer, super Terrasse, Außendusche und extra Badezimmer. In 2 min mit dem Board im Wasser. Antonio kümmert sich gut um alles. Große Gastfreundschaft. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Surf trip experiente

A experiência não foi positiva por estar a chover e a casa estar “adequada” ao bom tempo ( a casa de banho e chuveiro é no exterior). A localização é soberba, as condições da casa poderiam melhorar e ser referenciado no site que a casa é mesmo muito pequena ( um dos quartos é do tamanho da cama - não adequado a pessoas com mais de 1,80 cm )

Nice small place very close to the beach

We've been there as a group of 5 people and really liked how close the place is to the beach. It is literally the last house before the beach starts. The kitchen is well equipped and we had everything we needed for our 4 day surfing stay. The owner was very friendly and helped us out a lot, he was easy to contact. Some things were a little bit dirty and the toilet was leaking sometimes but nothing that would cause an issue. The whole place was kind of small (especially some of the beds) but there is a real nice terasse to sit outside. We look forward to stay there again.

You can‘t be closer to the beautiful beach. Nice owner. Great Spot for Surfing. Nice Terrasse. We definately would come back. A netter blanket next time would be great.

Not what we were expecting

I've waited to put this review on, as we were hoping that the owner would respond to our concerns. Unfortunately we haven't heard from him after several attempts to make contact. The inside of the house is fairly close to the photos but very dark and obviously a "surfer" house meant for a group of young people. There were no sheets on any of the beds and we did not feel it was ready for guests. Also, there was no mention in any of the write-up of a very busy restaurant, the Billabong, that is attached to the house with loud music and many people coming and going. You have to walk through the restaurant in order to get into the house and there is no mention of that in the information. All of the pictures showed a quiet serene beach with about six people on it and no crowds, so we were expecting a lovely tranquil stay at the house. Unfortunately there were thousands of young surfers and many families with young children and it was certainly not the way it was depicted in the photos on the website. We ended up trying to cancel our stay, without success, and feel that the property is misrepresented in the write-up and photos.

It was great

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in diesem hübschen Appartement. Antonio hat uns Willkommen geheißen, alles nötige erklärt und uns sogar noch ein paar extradecken für die frischen Dezembernächte gebracht. Alles perfekt :)
