With little kids, beach days happen in 20-minute windows.
Instant toes in the sand.
Hit the beach. Visit great local playgrounds. Order in. Repeat. Some days are chaos. Some days are magical. Most are both. Saltwater breaths help. The goal isn't perfect beach days, it's present ones.
Need a snack? Forgot the sunscreen? Someone suddenly needs a nap? No problem. The patio is just steps away.
If we can make your vacation days easier, we call that a win!

Thank you for your kind review. We truely appreciate your visits. We have done our best over the years to make sure our guests enjoy their stay at Banana Bay as much as we do. Hope to see you next year!
We enjoyed our stay so much. You can not beat having the beach and water so close. We also loved that the kids can play in the water and not fighting the waves that you get on the gulf side. Accommodations and bedding inside are get for our family.
The place was spacious, clean and met all our expectations. We loved being able to just go out back door to the beach. Going places you don’t have to fight insane traffic everytime. I highly recommend the property and would definitely return.
As always the property was amazing. The location was phenomenal and the communication with the owners was perfect as always. This was our 12th year staying here. We keep coming back for a reason!

Beautiful as always
8th trip to the property. It's the best, and our favorite!!
Enjoyed the private beach right outside the back door! House was roomy enough for all 8 of us. Everything was right there, only thing we had to buy was groceries! Looking forward to booking again next year!
We came for a softball tournament. Our group had Grandma's, Mom's, and kids. This property met everyone's needs. Great location, clean, quiet, and plenty of space. Next year we will be back to stay at this property and win the tournament. :-)
The property and owners are amazing. We have stayed here 8 years in a row, and there is a reason for that. The condo is amazing. The location is perfect. Looking forward to many more years!
Our entire group loved this beach house. This quiet gated community is the perfect getaway. With the house being located directly on the bay beach, it was so nice and relaxing to sit out on the patio and watch the boats roll by. The kids loved playing in the sand and finding hermit crabs by the water. It isn’t a long drive to the perdido key park or Johnson’s beach. We thoroughly enjoyed every day spent here and hope to come back!
This was our second time staying at this condo. It's like a little piece of heaven. In a nice location to Florida things and to Alabama things. The bay view is great. hope to be able to rent again.
Clean, spacious, stylish and well equipped in a great location in a nice, gated, colorful neighborhood. At the top of our list for our next trip to the area.
One minor hiccup: internet down for first two days (no one at management company answered the phone Sunday morning; -- had to wait until Monday to speak with a representative; issue not resolved until Monday evening) which ended up costing us quite a bit in overage since kids did hotspot through our phones.

We were sorry to hear you had internet issues during your stay. The folks you called initially on Sunday were the cleaning crew. As owners, we manage the property ourselves and once we received the call from the cleaning crew we took immediate action to resolve a Cox Communication issue. We would have been able to resolve the problem on Saturday had you called or texted the telephone number we provide on all our corespondence, which is routed directly to us 24x7. It is unfortunate that something outside our direct control resulted in our first 4 star rating since we started renting our home in 2008, but all input is welcome. Glad you enjoyed your stay. Kathy & David
My family and I enjoyed our trip so much. We loved the townhouse and loved being right on the beach(and the privacy)
The only the complaint I have is the patio. It was very slick. A few is slipped and fell. We will definitely rent this townhouse again.

We are happy you enjoyed your stay. We appoligize for the slippery patio. We wish you would have reached out to use at any time during your stay, we would have been happy to have some one come out and clean or rinse down the patio. Hope to see you next year!
We can’t thank you enough for allowing us to stay in this beautiful place! Our family has vacationed here several times, however, this time was more precious and special as we came together as a family to find peace after losing my niece one year ago at the age of 13 due to a rare bone cancer. She loved this family vacation years ago before getting sick and we returned as a family to celebrate her life and to appreciate what we all have, each other! We hope to continue this family tradition annually and look forward to staying here again if available! Thanks again!

About the host

Family is everything to us.
Family vacations have always been important to us, especially the kind where everyone can come along — kids, parents, and grandparents alike. That’s one of the reasons we chose this home and have taken extra care to make it comfortable for families traveling together.
We love the slower pace of Perdido Key. It’s one of those rare places where the beaches are still peaceful, nature is all around you, and the best days are often the simplest ones — kids searching for hermit crabs, evening walks along the water, and watching dolphins pass by at sunset.
As hosts, our goal is simple: to provide a relaxing home away from home where families can spend time together and create great vacation memories.
Why they chose this property
We’ve taken special care to create a beautiful and comfortable home away from home for families to relax and enjoy their time together.
Perdido Key is one of the few remaining unspoiled stretches of coastline in the Florida Panhandle, surrounded by miles of protected preserves, white sand beaches, and abundant wildlife.
It’s a place where kids can spend their days splashing in the water, hunting for hermit crabs, and collecting seashells, while parents relax and take in the peaceful surroundings.
You’ll also find endless opportunities for quiet walks along uncrowded beaches, along with hiking, kayaking, boating, and jet skiing nearby.
For us, Perdido Key is the perfect place to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy simple beach days with family.
What makes this property unique
What truly sets our townhouse apart is its location right on the sand. Our patio opens directly onto Banana Bay’s private beach, so you can step outside and be at the water in seconds.
The calm Intracoastal waters are perfect for families with young children. Kids love splashing in the shallows while searching for hermit crabs and collecting seashells, while parents can relax just steps away on the patio.
The layout of the home also works especially well for extended family vacations, with two king suites — including one conveniently located downstairs for guests who prefer to avoid stairs.
In the evenings, the patio becomes the best seat in the house as the sun sets over the water. Dolphins often pass by with the tide while barges glide quietly along the Intracoastal.
It’s a peaceful, family-friendly setting where the beach is truly right outside your door.
