Upscale Bahía Delfín Beach Condominium, one minute walk to the beach

San Carlos! Sea, sun and sand are just one minute from your front door. Come and relax in our beautiful new condo with a spectacular 5 miles sandy beach. Bahia Delfin is a new modern safe quiet gated community of condos all with ocean and beach views and all within 30 feet from the sandy beach. Once inside the gated community , no car needed . The beach is 1 minute walking distance . The heated community pool is great to enjoy and relax. *Please see below for safety disclaimer.

Our condo is tastefully decorated with elegant new furniture and paintings. It is a 2 level duplex with a master suite in the upper level that includes a king bed. The new spacious fully equipped kitchen has all of your needs covered to cook lovely meals . The bedrooms at the main level have : larger one 2 twin beds with also a queen bed, and the second one has 1 queen bed. The king bed is at the upper level. There are 3 full bathrooms. There are 2 balconies with outdoor tables and chairs .We have a grill . Wifi is of good spead and the 2 flat screen smart TV s will entertain you so you will be able to see your favorite shows.

Children and babies must be included in the count . No more than 8 people allowed per HOA regulations

WASHER DRYER is available for 5 NIGHTS or longer stay. Pet are only accepted upon owner decision case by case . There would be a pet fee. Per HOA, there will be also a 25 $ fee for late booking and late notification of the office of your arrival date ( lest than 5 days notification )

San Carlos is an easy 4 hours drive from the Arizonian border with excellent and safe highways. Crossing the border is easy formalities.
The beach is sandy with no rocks. The Soldado Estuero is a great place to reach by foot simply following the beach by foot for 1 mile. May differents species of birds are to be seen there. Downtown with numerous restautants is 3 miles away. You can also enjoy the 2 marinas that San Carlos has with many water sports available.

English is spoken almost everywhere all along.

Thanksgiving Diving Trip

Had a great stay at Bahía Delfín. Location is quiet and secluded. The private beach access was wonderful and the sunsets were amazing. This condo was perfect for our group. Lots of room and all the amenities we could have asked for.

Nice place

Check in is a little weird and they were militant about only 1 car because they were going to be packed, made my brother park his car outside the gate, yet it was dead and dozens of open. Also, I can’t make any sense if not being able to use the washer and dryer unless you stay 5 or more days, but place was nice, AC worked great, super quiet, very clean, beds were decent and clean plenty of room.

Nice property, with good security. condo was decent, well equipped, but a little far from the water compared to others. Only issue was not having access to the laundry room, which was listed when staying for 5 nights (we stayed 7). For a property with so many HOA rules, and staff walking the grounds to check for compliance, unlocking a door upon arrival should have been easy. Unfortunately we never got access to the washer and dryer.

Lacking overall up keep

Some of the things that need to be repaired: Screen doors don't open to balconies, cabinets hinges in the kitchen are falling off and the doors need to be painted. Bed sheets are old and have holes in them in the master bedroom. The unit is located near the Bahia Delfin sewer plant and often smells outside.

Overall nice place and id stay there again. My only problem is that the communication was a little lacking prior to check in. I asked about the check in and received a short response that wasn't helpful. There is no door code here. All you need to do is show the confirmation email to the gate attendants and they will give you the keys. I was unable to get this info ahead of time which made me nervous driving all the way down there not knowing exactly what to expect and how i was going to get in. Side note there is no games not even a deck of cards.

Great place and location, property manager was a bit rude

The property and location are fantastic. The place says it accomodates 6 people but with 5 beds it easily accomodates 8. However, the property manager charges an additional fee for every additional occupant after 5 people. It doesn't make sense that the place would accomodate 6 but charge extra for the 5th and 6th person. Additionally, the property manager expressed irritation when I requested (over two weeks before my reservation) to change the number of occupants from 4 to 5 stating "You all do the same , every renter is adding guests at the last minute". Not sure why the need to respond that way or why it even makes a difference but it definitely set a negative tone.

A Spacious Unit away from the pool and beach noise.

We enjoyed our stay in this unit. We had a problem with the mini split upstairs main bedroom but it was resolved within 2 hours of reporting it to the owner. It was nice and cold upstairs and downstairs too with the central air. The kitchen is very well stocked for general cooking. I always bring my own knives, cutting board and lime squeezer when I stay at any rental property. The unit is quite spacious and it has peek a boo views of the ocean from main balcony and upstairs balcony. In the summer you can watch thunderstorms developing with clouds and lightening at night to the northeast from the balcony, these storms are hundreds of miles away. There is room for improvements and I have shared that with the owner. All in all, we enjoyed having a spacious unit away from noise of the beach and pool areas, a laundry room was handy too. The furnishings and decor are comfortable considering it is a beach condo. I think anyone would enjoy staying here.

Good/Fair Experience

We have stayed many times at this site. The condo was similar to the others we have stayed at. Well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. I did request to have the washroom opened and Catherine arranged that-very much appreciated. However, we did not have hot water until the following day-mid morning. Also, we had the water and gas turned off on us the second day we were there. We called in both instances to the property office and they got it fixed. I mentioned this to Catherine and my concern regarding the dryer possibly catching fire with the amount of lint build up and she didn’t seem phased. We took extra care to assure her condo was well taken care of (also repairing the sliding screen in the patio) and she didn’t seem to be phased by the issues or appreciative of us letting her know about the dryer concern-just met with a “thanks”. To each their own, but the fact of no hot water (unable to shower) or the inconvenience of no water or gas is something I would at least apologize to the tenant for.
