3BR Beachfront Captiva Home with Private Pool & 120’ Gulf Frontage

Nirvana is right on the beachfront at the beginning of Captiva Drive. The vacation house has a private, heated pool. This is a unique beachfront location on Captiva, where the shoreline of our tropical island curves. So the panoramic view is spectacular from your 120 feet of beach frontage! The area seems to abound with wildlife, especially the playful porpoise.

Nirvana has three bedrooms plus a sleeper sofa in the living room, for up to 8 guests. The big porch overlooks the beach, so you can watch sunsets, dolphins, sea birds, and gentle waves. Let the sound of the gentle surf soothe you to sleep at night in tranquil Nirvana!


All reservations/cancellations are subject to the terms and conditions (policies) of the American Realty Rental Agreement once the reservation is booked thru 3rd party platforms.

We absolutely loved our stay! Our crew of four adults and four kids had everything we could have asked for. The location was great. Steps from the beach ( the included beach equipment and wagon were a thoughtful touch we truly appreciated.) The pool was a highlight for the kids, who spent hours in it every day. The house itself was spotless, modern, and spacious, with stunning views of the beach. We couldn't have asked for more!

Location can't be beat... House is becoming a little dated....but, we spent almost all of our time out on the back deck or on the beach anyway, so who minds some outdated furniture and decor? :-) The screened in deck is perfect!

There is also a bedroom with bunk beds (queen/twin) that has its own bathroom in the hallway. Screened in porch. Great views from the kitchen, 2 ensuites and porch. Lovely kitchen - well equipped. Overall a top-notch rental home.Easy walk along the beach to Turner Beach where the shelling is great. And you can walk across the bridge to the other side (Blind Pass beach) where shelling is also good. If you are here for shelling, you'll love this.Management company (American Realty) is great to work with. They are quick to respond to any questions and to fix anything that is an issue. My only complaint this year was that the bugs were worse than usual due to the hurricanes. Hopefully this will rapidly resolve.

Really great property for a family vacation! We had an awesome time and any prior communication with the host was handled promptly and professionally. It was also really nice to not be so far up Captiva that doing things on Sanibel was a pain. The beach was lovely, we really lucked out with sunsets, and having our own pool was amazing (especially when traveling with a toddler). We really loooved the screened in deck and ate most meals out there!Good to know that it is super close to the main road, but noise didn’t bother us. My parents (who used the upstairs bedroom and bathroom) noted that a couple of things needed repair, such as the towel bar, but nothing major. If you’ve never been to the area, know that there is a Publix on the mainland right before the causeway and it is really worth stopping there for your main grocery shop! You will need all the basics (salt, pepper, cooking oil, etc.) All the love to Jerry’s, but you might not find eeeeverything you need there.

This is our 20th family vacation, and we always like to go to a different location each year. This was the first time my family is considering coming back to this same house. THIS HOME IS REALLY GOOD! In addition to being a great house, it is on a stretch of uncrowded beach. I can’t say enough good things about this place.

Two gripes... the mattress in the master bedroom was completely broken down and had no box springs under it. Very surprising given the cost of this weekly rental. As good as the house was, the master bed was as equally bad. Also, the dishwasher did not wash dishes at all. We did call maintenance the last day of our rental just to make sure they were aware. All in all, this house is great. Just these two cheap fixes and we would have had zero complaints.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Decent property. Not cheap to rent. So why are these must-haves neglected?Pool water remained stagnant most of the time. When the filter was re-set by us, the water movement was slow. The pool water was hot. Not refreshing at all. Floating in leaves, dead flowers and bugs. The landscaping around the pool was beautiful and fragrant. Noise from the road while in the pool was bothersome.The views of the ocean from the kitchen, living room and back deck were stunning. The kitchen cabinets handles, and surrounding cabinets were grimy and sticky. Drawers need wiped out and scrubbed. Small appliances and dishware are adequate. Worn and older. The refrigerator was big and kept items nice and cold.Patch old holes and paint. Walls are nicked up. Bathrooms are smallish. Toilets are low, low to the ground. Drawers in bathroom had random Q-tips and stray long hair in them. Clean it please.MBR is spacious. Need blinds on the window for late sleepers. Currently has sheer curtains that are missing tabs and hang askew. Closet has dark spots on ceiling. Did not hand clothes there.Other bedroom closet doors swing out off the top rails. Holes in walls by the bed where I assume sconce lights used to be.Cannot smoke cigars on the deck or pool area. We did not. Do enjoy a drink and cigar as the sun sets so had to go to the beach. Keep that in mind. Layout of the house is great. Full sized washer and dryer worked wonderfully. Cheap on the dishwasher tabs as we were left only 4 and were requested to wash the last load before we left. Squeaked by with the amount of toilet paper. Kitchen table is large and glass. No cleaning stuff to clean it so we bought some. I mean come on. A little more consideration is all that is needed.Would not rent again as I don't like to stay in vacation places that are 'less than' my home environment. Deep cleaned and painted should be a

There was a huge lanai that was the length of the house which is considerable. The best weather I’ve ever had in Captiva on any vacation. Challenges there were a few. First thing we noticed is 1 . The refrigerator was not keeping the food cold and they sent over the appliance repair man who did a fabulous immediate job . 2. Is that we could not get towels to dry they kept sending people over to fix it that didn’t have a clue. The pool was filthy and the maintenance guy kept telling me it was good I own a pool I know a clean pool. they didn’t even have the filter on. Once we do did get everything remedied which took a good half of our vacation we had a most wonderful time. Going to give it another try for 2023

Location Location Location

Overall, this is a wonderful spot. The house is spacious, the view is phenomenal, and it has a homey comfort feel. However, as other reviewers have noted ( and the property manager) the house is showing its age inside & out. Doors are jammed, paint is peeling, the pool & hot tub are chipped, rust is throughout, the furnishings are dated & worn. However, even with these irregularities, we had a great time and re-booked for next year ( with the promise of renovations),

The house could use some tlc inside. Only negative is the bugs. House was full of bugs by day 4 and most of us had multiple bug bites.
