Nice apartment just outside the city. Close to beach and golf course. I didn’t see wildlife as per the description at the location. But if you walk to the beach you can see ducks and birds. This is an apartment inside a home. You must enter through residence to access the apartment up the stairs. Nice to have a kitchen and heated floors.

Siggi and his wife were the most friendly and caring hosts. Checked on us multiple time to ensure our stay was perfect. The view from the apartment is everything, we were able to see the northern lights twice without even leaving the apartment. This apartment was clean and cozy— had all the essentials. Clean, quiet, cozy place just outside of Reykjavik. All necessary appliances and cookware are available. The studio apartment was a perfect home away from home. There was plenty of space and we found the bed very comfortable. We found an excellent place to eat fairly close to the city center. The apartment is a perfect location to launch your day to the Golden Circle, a day in the city, or any number of day trips and hikes. Siggi and Nanna are friendly and accommodating.

I am a master car mechanic, retired and live in this house with my wife. My two boys have taken over the garage, that I did start for 40 years ago.

Why they chose this property

I built it my self. And since the kids has moved from the nest, me and my wife Nanna have plenty of room.

What makes this property unique

There is not crowded here, in a small villa quarter, where there is 2-300 meters to the beach, north and south. To vest (300 m) is protected area, with various kinds of birds. And if you walk to east, the center of Reykjavik is 4,7 km.
