About this property

Holiday Cottage & Coarse Lake

Our property is set in 80 acres of unspoiled French countryside and the rural setting means peace and tranquility for you to enjoy your holiday.

From the gîte there are stunning views down over the 1½ acre coarse fishing lake which is included in your booking and well stocked with carp (up to 21lbs), tench, bream, roach etc.

The gite has 3 bedrooms (2 bedrooms have double beds and one bedroom has 2 single beds). The master bedroom is en-suite (toilet, basin, shower) and there is a second separate bathroom with toilet, basin & shower.

The fully fitted kitchen is well stocked with everything you may need (including a dishwasher) and overlooks the open-plan dining/sitting room which also benefits from the beautiful views down the field to the lake.

The gite has internet and UK satellite TV, there are French doors from the sitting room to the large, covered terrace which has table & chairs, sun-loungers and a large, purpose-built barbecue. There is also a 25ft pool which is perfect for cooling off in and enjoying the landscape (May - Sept).

Outside the gite has its own garage equipped with washing machine and table tennis table.

You will have the possibility to borrow sheets, bath and hand towels and kitchen and tea towels (for an extra charge: sheets 15€/person - bath towels 5€/person - kitchen and tea towels 3€) and to choose for the cleaning service at the end of your stay (for an additional €100).

Excellent séjour

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour : Craig et Isabel sont d’excellents hôtes , très sympathiques et amoureux de la région, ils ont été aux petits soins pour notre famille et même notre chien. Le gite , même s’il n’est pas très grand est très confortable avec ses 3 chambres , 2 SEB, cuisine toute équipée … piscine est très belle et très bien entretenue

Petit paradis au calme

Loin de la vie tumultueuse de la ville, nous avons pu nous reposer dans ce beau gîte avec une vue imprenable au milieu de la nature et nous baigner chaque jour pendant la période de chaleur dans la piscine très bien entretenue. Merci à nos hôtes pour leur accueil chaleureux !

Agréable séjour

Maison agréable et lieu insolite avec son étang en contre bas. A 5 minutes en voiture du premier village. Il manque des coussins pour les transats extérieurs, un peu de vaisselle comme des bols et une cafetière.
