Modern Rustic Lakeside Retreat with views of Whiteside Mountain

Relax, restore and create cherished memories at our newly renovated home on the Highlands-Cashiers Plateau. Tucked in the trees, you can sit on the deck and soak in the serenity of Holly Berry Lake and the majesty of Whiteside Mountain. Outdoor activities abound, whether you fancy paddle boarding on the lake, sliding down nearby Sliding Rock, or taking a hike to see the many surrounding waterfalls. Conveniently located between Highlands and Cashiers, our home allows for easy access to the many superior dining and shopping options that both towns provide.
Gather the whole gang for good times in the large open living, kitchen and dining room area. Each of the four bedrooms (King, Queen, 2 Twins, and bunk room) has an attached bathroom and outside access making it comfortable and convenient for all. The only downside to our home is.... you may never want to leave!

Available to only one rental contract per month due to HOA restrictions. Discounted rates for extended stays. Our home is Flexcation ready with satellite internet (Viastat Business), WiFi enabled calling, a mesh unit to distribute WIFI signal through the house, and a desk and printer in office nook in master bedroom.

Amazing views, perfect home

This was the perfect place for our much needed fall rest and relaxation vacation! Wonderful views from home and huge deck with firepit and grill, incredibly comfortable living room, great cooks kitchen with all the gadgets, and the "napping porch" became my favorite afternoon hangout. Some great hikes are nearby, and Cashiers is a very reasonable 15 minute drive away. Everything was spotless and perfect! We plan to return again.

Wonderful home with spectacular views!

This is a beautiful, comfortable home that truly feels as if you are isolated in the mountains, yet convenient to Cashiers and Highlands. Wonderful views and a great deck and patio with outdoor fireplace and firepit, furnished with rockers perfect for relaxing on the deck and enjoying the amazing view. The home is furnished and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay!

The most amazing home in Cashiers/Highlands

Spectacular view of Holly Berry Lake and Whiteside Mountain. Elegant with comfortable furniture in each room. Excellent use of space. Fully equipped kitchen. Fire pit with loads of firewood. Immaculately maintained home. Look ahead to returning.

Perfect location to Highlands and Cashiers

We rent homes many times throughout the year in various locations as we travel a lot. This stay was one of our favorites! We were very happy how well the home was stocked with essentials and also little extras. Plenty of kitchen supplies, bath products, towels, blankets, etc. The home was clean and very nicely decorated without being over done. No one needs extra "stuff" just sitting around in the way...we all have that in our own houses and do not want it on vacation.There are Many rooms with great cozy spots and beautiful views. We have been to Highlands many times and would prefer this home to all those we've rented in the past.

What a spot!

This place is wonderful! The house is beautiful, warm, engaging, and well-stocked. Lots of bedrooms, lovely view of the lake, dynamic view of the mountain, and 15 minutes to Cashiers, 30 minutes to Sapphire for snow. We did not go to Highlands but I think that's pretty close too. 5 stars, great stay, and Angela is a top notch host!

We loved our stay at this beautiful home. The photos online don't do it justice. The home was larger than expected with so many great living area (indoors and out). The lake was an added bonus. The kids had a blast every evening playing on the water toys. We look forward to our visit next summer.

Beautiful and relaxing winter family getaway

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at this beautiful Highlands home! The communication with the property owners before, during and after was great. The house is gorgeous, cozy and very well appointed. There was plenty of space for all of us to cook, relax, watch movies, play games, etc. It was everything we needed for our pre-Christmas getaway. We were able to go on many beautiful walks, runs and hikes. We ventured into cashiers and Highlands on a couple different occasions. We were able to also utilize the outdoor fire pit each evening! It is a perfect family getaway for winter and we look forward to hopefully going back again, possibly during the summer!

perfect mountain getaway for a big group!

I truly cannot say enough good things about this home. Everything is exactly as pictured, if not better. We were able to comfortably sleep 11. The open kitchen and large den made it perfect for our big group. Everything was updated and it was clear that the owners had thought of every little detail. We LOVED it - we already want to book it again for next October. Thank you Angela for a perfect weekend in your beautiful home!

Great home with well designed floor plan, wonderful finishes, hardscape and landscape. Very quiet.

Very well done home with everything you'd want in a mountain get away. Clean and current decorating across a very enjoyable floor plan. Very quiet setting on a lake looking up at Whiteside Mountain. Beautiful landscaping and hardscape for perfect outdoor living. Spacious with lots of room for adults and kids. Much closer to Cashiers than Highlands, but easy to find.
