Best location- just minutes from main Highway (US 64) makes going shopping or sightseeing fast and easy. Our location is a short drive to: Blue Ridge Parkway, Pisgah National Forest, Biltmore Estates & too many spectacular waterfalls to mention, excellent trails, white water rafting & the finest golf courses nearby, or: Why go anywhere? From our dock you can go Fishing, Boating, Water-Skiing, Tubing, Swimming, or just cruise the lake taking in the spectacular sights. It’s like waking up to a dream. Love the area. Plenty of shopping, great restaurants. The lake is gorgeous. House was clean and well appointed. The boat was a bonus.

A great week

We enjoyed a wonderful week on beautiful Lake Toxaway. The location of this property can‘t be beaten and the home was exceptionally clean and well equipped. Additionally, the Hosts, Rosie and Steve, were incredibly nice and responsive.

A Gem!

We had a blast: breathtaking views, lovely home, a boat for a pleasure, cruises and tubing, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Rosie could not have been more responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Definitely would love to come back.

Beautiful stay.

Rosie and Steve were great to work with. Their property on Lake Toxaway is beautiful. Boat was the reason we booked so we could experience the lake. Boat could use a little tlc but it ran perfectly. I would recommend this property.

We provide a boat to make the guest stay experience on the lake much more rememberable which is something that most rentals on the lake don't do. You would have to go and rent your own boat. We do our best to have maintained regualrly but have no control on how the guests treat it on a weekly basis. Plans are on the way to make some good changes to remedy the situation. Our guests suggestions are taken very seriously. We thank all our guests that have stayed with us and those that will stay in the future.

Great time !

The house was very pleasing. The views from the porches were beautiful. We cooked most of the time and the kitchen was well equipped and grill worked great. It was extremely clean. Beds were very comfortable. It was definitely a bonus to have the boat available. Weather was fantastic!!

Perfectly Peaceful.

We have rented several different places on Lake Toxaway and none have disappointed including this home. Having the boat was absolutely wonderful. The sheets/bed were surprisingly comfortable and I liked the cute mason jar soap dispensers in the bathrooms. Hope to come back again soon.

Beautiful Location

Lake Toxaway is absolutely beautiful. The house is located close to amazing hiking trails and water falls. Our three boys ages 7,9 and 10 had a blast in the boat fishing and tubing! We made lasting memories. The Shades were very good at communicating. We truly enjoyed our stay!!

Great Getaway

Our visit was during the quiet season, at the end of summer. We enjoyed a relaxing view of the lake from both upper and lower porches. The slope of the lot down to the water was doable for 65-70 year olds as long as we took our time. The kitchen was well stocked and the entire home extremely clean. The owners were quick to respond to any questions we had.
