This Rent In Highlands vacation rental home is pet friendly for one small dog, under 20 pounds. Pets must be pre-approved. An additional non-refundable pet fee is required and is not included in the rental fee. Please call our office for approval and to pay the pet fee. Failure to adhere to this policy will result in a $1000.00 fine.
Only adults (25 years old and older) may reserve this property and an adult must occupy the property at all times.
This one-of-a-kind 1940s house has been kept in the extended family since the original build, growing in size as the family did. After being passed down through the family, it is now owned by the 3rd generation. Renovations have been made to modernize and update the home to provide the ultimate retreat that's comfortable, yet still maintains that 1940's charm.
Main Level:
This level includes two bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with a queen bed, each with its own ensuite bathroom, ensuring privacy and comfort.
Lower Level:
The lower level features a mini eat-in kitchen, a new game room, a queen bed, and a bathroom, perfect for extra guests or family members.
Upper Level:
The upper level has a very large bedroom with four twin beds, ideal for kids, along with its own ensuite and dressing area. Additionally, there is a king bedroom, a queen bedroom, and two more bathrooms, completing the upper floor. Each bedroom is equipped with its own TV, including five smart TVs.
Outdoor Spaces:
From the living area, step out onto the open porch, where you’ll find seating around a fire pit table, a patio dining set, and a gas grill for outdoor meals. For a more rustic vibe, wander over to the wood fire pit—perfect for roasting marshmallows and enjoying a crackling fire under the stars.

Rent In Highlands Vacation Rental Cancellation Policy
Policy (A) for reservations less than 20 days:
A reservation canceled between 0-45 days prior to arrival is not eligible to receive a refund. If more than 45 days notice is given, the renter shall receive a refund of all payments made, less a cancellation fee of 10% of the Total Cost of the Reservation.
Policy (B) for reservations of 20 days or more and reservations made 6 months in advance:
NO refund is given unless the property is re-rented under the same terms (Trip insurance is available and recommended to help protect your trip).
