Beautiful Poconos Getaway

Very calm and quiet, like we were the only ones in the area. Saw very few other people, possibly because it’s between seasons. Beautiful changing colors of the trees. Beautiful view of the lake from the home, but trimming some of the height on the bushes between the house and lake would totally open up the view!!!

Relaxing Pocono Getaway

If you are looking for a relaxing getaway in the Pocono's, the ScatterJoy property is for you. Communication with the owners, from start to finish, was simple and they were always responsive. The home itself is beautifully kept, with a fantastic kitchen to cook your meals (we mainly grilled on the deck), and a game room complete with a pool and foosball table. As nice as the house is, we spent the majority of our time outside by the lake utilizing the canoes, sitting by the fire pits, and fishing. Tucked away for privacy, but only a few minutes from the local shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend staying here.

Great stay at Lake Naomi

just stayed at scatter joy for a week with our family , my two kids, my grand kids (5,2,15months). The house was great, not sure we would rent it again with such young children, but I’ll go through pros and cons as there were both. However for grown children it was super. Pros: Check in was easy! location of the house couldn’t be beat. The house itself was spacious and accurate to the photos on the listing. The screened in porch was lovely to sit in during the thunderstorm we had. The kitchen was spacious and well stocked Plenty of games and smart TVs for entertainment Hot tub was really nice - although we were there during a heatwave so couldn’t really use it . Access to kayaks and row boat and peddle boat was super fun Washer dryer always a plus Bathrooms were newly renovated and gorgeous , plenty of hot water - good pressure Gorgeous sunset views from Lake front Nice deck for grilling , grill worked excellent Super responsive owner- very helpful with questions? Tons of information provided in the house as well. Con’s: The AC is a little different than your average central air unit and it is noted they usually open the window at night for cool air, we were there during a heatwave (obviously no one’s fault , ) and it was HOT. However ? The owner did everything possible to make us comfortable and cool

Relaxing weekend

This house was exactly as described and our family had a relaxing end of summer weekend at the house. The fire pit by the lake and the hot tub were the highlight of our trip.

We are 2 Philadelphia area professionals who wanted a lakefront within reasonable driving distance, similar to the family time we enjoyed in the Finger Lakes. We've made abundant improvements since 1999, including new kitchen, baths and even raising the roof. We love this property and the Lake Naomi community!

-ScatterJoy is the epitome of a perfect rental. The house, property and location combined to make this a wonderful getaway. In terms of the house, it is spacious, comfortable and well appointed with modern and tasteful amenities. The large bedrooms, new bathrooms, open plan first floor and various features all make for a terrific stay.
-The house has a great layout and is beautifully furnished. We prepared all of our meals in the well appointed kitchen while our kids spent a lot of their time in the game room.
-We loved this house! If location is everything then this house is the house, it is one on the few on the lake with incredible sunsets.
-The hot tub has a great view of the lake and screened in porch is quiet and cool with the fan. If you want to cook because of COVID, the house has everything you need, sheet pans, bowls, graters and BBQ implements for the grill on the deck. The bedrooms are thoughtfully placed in the dark quiet back part of the house for plenty of easy sleep. The magnificent great room with 2 floor cathedral ceilings and large windows is the perfect place to hang out in any kind of weather. The upstairs pool table, foosball and TV make it the perfect hangout for all ages. Simply its a very well maintained beautiful home in a one a kind location. You will be very happy you visited!
