This fabulous home is situated where the famous Rogue River meets the Pacific Ocean, offering fantastic river and ocean views and is within walking distance to the beach. This unique home provides all the comforts of home with a private hot tub, fenced-in large back yard, wood-burning fireplace, gas barbecue, privacy decks, and vintage nautical decor. Come relax in this fantastic home...you deserve it!!! You will appreciate the special attention given to detail--from the vintage nautical decor, large flat-screen televisions, a game room for the kids in the downstairs basement--a GREAT place for the kids to hang out!!! And for the family pets, there is a large fenced-in and gated yard providing plenty of room for them to run.

Sit on the private deck where you can watch boats come into port, beachcomb less than a block away at the beach for agates, or jump out in the waves for surfing, kayaking, or fishing. Restaurants in town are just a short drive away and close enough for delivery.

We loved that it had a hot tub and was pet friendly! The 2 kids loved having their own space downstairs! Coffee on the deck and watching the boats go out was a favorite of mine.

This coastal retreat was great! The house is very large with everything one would need. There is a completely fenced yard which was great for our dogs. Hot tub was fantastic, views were amazing, Bobbie was easy to communicate with and very nice. We only stayed a weekend but we definitely wanted to stay longer! Highly recommend this place!

Great house - find it in daylight

Tough to find after dark as it's down a road spur. Great location once you are there. Walk to beach and super view. Hot tub was nice as well as fenced yard for dog.

The house was perfect for my family vacation. The view of the jetty, the ocean and river was beautiful, especially the rising full moon. The house was well stocked and very comfortable. My mother is disabled and in a wheel chair. Except for three steps leading into the house it was accessible. We managed the steps. The host was very communicative and accommodating, and a wonderful person with whom to coordinate our vacation.

The couple staying in the master bedroom complained that the bed was sagging in the middle. Otherwise the visit was real nice, except we though the house was on the beach.

Good location! Easy access to beach and jetty for exploring!

We enjoyed our stay here. It was a great location, plenty of room for our big family to get together. Nice yard for our 2 dogs. The kids loved the downstairs room. It was really clean. Plenty of towels and linens. Great location for our daily adventures. Just a few notes. Upstairs beds could use new mattresses, not the most comfortable, but adequate. The screens seem a little loose and could use some work. Big sectional in living room is very old and soft. Last, the hot tub really need some lighting, as it is on the dark side of the house, decking around it would be good to keep it clean. There is no way to rinse feet before getting in. Sunset isn't really visible from the property due to large trees and beach view is limited. The place needs a little updating but overall, it was great for our family and met our needs. We enjoyed our stay!

The house has a number of very good features, such as the basement that leads directly to the fenced-in yard, the deck outside the front door, the deck outside the kitchen, and the washer and dryer. Also, the kitchen was very well stocked with all of the pots, pans, plates, etc. that we could possibly need. The bathrooms were spotless and well supplied with soaps and towels. Unfortunately, the dining area table was very difficult for us to use because the chairs were so high and hard to get close to the table without hitting our knees. The light switch for the kitchen was not working properly (very hard to get it to turn off and concern about outlet not working) and the light for the deck off the kitchen didn't work at all. The smallest bedroom window faces a house across the street where the really, really bright security light is on all night long, so the blinds had to be closed in that bedroom which drastically reduced the available ventilation from the window.

Cape Rogue

Excellent place to stay in Gold Beach. Bobbie is super and the fishing was fabulous. 2nd time our group has stayed here and both times were excellent. Will use again if we can.
