Beautiful view but I thought we were directly on the beach. It is a short walk but for what we paid I wanted to be on the beach. The place was clean. The games is fun and a unique touch for the kids. The house wasn’t stocked enough with TP or paper towels. One roll in each bathroom and 1 paper towel.

Very nice property perfect even though we had torrential rain and 65 mile an hour wind. we made the use of the indoor arcade and even got in a few dips in the hot tub. Love the ocean front views. Bev Walker

Can't beat being on the beach!

Great to be right on the beach, and have a hot tub on the beach as well! Everything in the house was well-stocked, and clean... communication was great, and we really enjoyed our stay!

The location and laid out the house is amazing! Just to be able to sit pretty much anywhere and see and hear the ocean is pretty amazing. We had a great time! Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved Beach House 101. Great location, beautiful beach. House is beautiful and there is plenty of room. My 19 year old loved the arcade games. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Hot tub on the beach

Great trip to this property in Gold Beach, listing was a very short walk to the sandy beach. Hot tub worked great, there were plenty of activities within the house and plenty of room to operate in the kitchen and living space. Would go back again and stay with a large group.

The location of and views from the property are both 5 stars, but unfortunately the house itself is only 3 at best. It needs a lot of maintenance and updates/replacements. Towels are really old and stink even when clean. Permanent stains on many of them. Powder room toilet lid is so loose you almost fall off and the hand towel rack is about to fall out of the wall. The primary bathoom shower door doesn't close fully so water is on the floor every time. There's missing and moldy grout and caulk. There's not a single bathroom washcloth in the entire place. The cleaners did a really poor job before we got there - dirt and hair still on floor, all the mirrors/doors were really smudged/streaked up, dishwasher still full, etc.We briefly lost hot water one evening but the host was super responsive and the plumber came out and took care of it within the hour.We loved the oceanfront location, the views, the hot tub, and the proximity to trails/Rogue River. However, even with that, I would not stay here again unless I knew the owners have spent the time and money to update the place.

Perfect beach house stay

We loved this house! It has a great layout, was extremely clean, and comfortable. The house had everything we needed and the kitchen is well stocked to cook in. The house is right at the beach and has amazing views. We loved watching the really high tides and stormy weather the area was experiencing while we were there. There's a grocery store and restaurants within a couple miles of the house. We'll definitely stay here again!
