Spacious and Comfortable Home Next to all the Action!
Comfortable, spacious, warm and inviting well-stocked New England home with room for eight. Three (3) bedrooms, 5 beds, and 2.5 new bathrooms; this home offers classic features with modern touches.
With nearly 2,500 square feet, this home offers plenty of room and privacy for you and your guests. There is ample private parking. We have window A/C downstairs and in each of the bedrooms. There are just a few "hot days" in summer.
Each of the three bedrooms (located upstairs) have comfortable beds with a queen size bed in the primary, a queen size bed in the second room, and two twin beds in the third room. The primary bedroom has a four poster bed and an en suite bathroom. The upstairs has another full bathroom. All bathrooms are stocked with amenities such as soap, shampoo/conditioner, and body wash.
There is a sofa bed with a Bob-O-Pedi mattress in the downstairs sunroom with a barn door for added privacy.
There is a large eat-in kitchen with all the amenities you could need, including quality pots and equipment for a classic New England lobster boil. We provide a Keurig and a Cuisinart gold filter coffee maker and a coffee grinder. We have a new electric five-burner stove. You can enjoy your meals on the private and large deck facing the back yard which incudes a gas bbq. All bbq equipment is provided, including a spare tank of gas. We provide all basic kitchen amenities including spices, oils, trash bags, foil, plastic wrap, etc.
There are 2 sets of stairs to the upstairs bedrooms, including one directly into the primary bedroom. Additionally, there are two steps on the first floor, one of which is a step up into the kitchen and another step down into the sunken living room. These steps are well marked for your safety.
On one side of the yard, there is a 8 foot deep pool which is fully covered and fenced around the entire permitter. The fence is locked and the pool is not used. There are signs around the pool to not enter. This is for your safety.
Minutes to downtown Boothbay Harbor, the Costal Maine Botanical Gardens, quaint restaurants, and lobster shacks!

I've lived in Maine for 18 years throughout my life, including permanently for the last 10 years in both Kennebunk and Dresden. My wife and I love houses with character, small towns, and quaint villages. The home in Boothbay checks all of those boxes and more!
We are frequent VRBO/Airbnb users and love to furnish and stock the Boothbay house with all of the comforts and modern amenities we enjoy when we travel. Specifically, we appreciate fine linens, a well-stocked kitchen, and a sparkling clean place, so we like to provide that to our guests.
I've had a life-long passion for antiques and have bought and furnished many houses during my life, so I take great pride in the furnishings for the Boothbay house so the guests are both comfortable as well have have a place with character and classic New England charm.
We are well traveled and spend the winter months each year in southern Portugal, in Lagos. We are always happy to get back to Maine.

Why they chose this property
Boothbay Harbor is a peninsula with incredible ocean views, wonderful restaurants, lighthouses (because Maine), boat tours, as many lobsters as you can eat, and a chance to go island hopping. There is also a world-class botanical garden. There are art galleries, local shops, antique stores, and as many nautical-themed stores as you could imagine for you to stroll in and out of.
The house is located 5 minutes from Boothbay Harbor in the town of Boothbay. The benefit is that you get to stay close to all the action but without the noise and tourists and with private parking. The house is very spacious with 2,500 square feet, and a half an acre to enjoy. There's a large backyard and deck.

The Boothbay house is unique for several reasons, one of which is that it's quite spacious (2,500 sq ft) and quiet and peaceful. The furnishings are a mix of antiques and modern, all of which are comfortable. I take great pride in furnishing houses, and spend a lot of time decorating to create a warm and inviting space.
This space also has a large backyard and a deck with Adirondack chairs and a bbq to enjoy.
