We have stayed at Driftwood many times. The chalet is always clean and comfortable. It is ideally located for the beach and is surrounded by stunning countryside.

The location is excellent and accommodation is lovely, would definitely recommend
Just enjoyed a wonderful two weeks away staying in this cosy little chalet. The chalet was clean and well cared for with a garden table and chairs from which to enjoy a sunny morning cuppa. The location was amazing - a stone's throw from the coastal path and the stunning Yaverland beach. Perfect for humans and dogs alike!! :) Also, the perfect base ftom which to explore this magical Isle.Looking forward to returning when I can!!
The property was very clean and well equipped with a wonderful Welcome Basket.
It was lovely and quiet and only a short walk to the beach.
We had a wonderful break there.
Driftwood is a very clean and comfortable chalet, it is situated in a quiet area and is surrounded by beautiful countryside and very close to the sea front.
Chalet is very well positioned. Lovely walks to the seafront and over the cliffs. Chalet is a home from home, very well equipped, clean modern and comfortable.
Accomodation was clean and well equipped in a peace setting of the site. Parking very close by ideal for people with ability problems and would definitely use again.
We found the chalet quiet, clean and cosy. Situated on a large site with plenty of space. No shop or social club on site but chalet had plenty of extras so just needed to take food. Close by the sandy beach (short downhill walk) and cafe there. Great base to explore from. Kind and responsive hosts. Recommended.
A perfect peaceful location with stunning scenery.
Renting this property ran so smoothly. I was pleasantly surprised by how well equipped the chalet was. I would definitely recommend it. Communication was excellent I would have given more than 5* if it was possible
Superb accommodation in a perfect location for roaming freely with Maggie the Spaniel. For the fit everything is on your doorstep. For those not so mobile just sit back and admire the views. 5 star
Excellent interior decor and facilities. We were particularly impressed by the quality of the kitchen equipment and accessories - vacuum cleaner etc. It felt like nothing had been skimped on and everything had been carefully sourced and thought out.
The position of the property couldn't have been better - a few minutes' drive or walk from a beautiful beach and an easy route into the town.
The chalet park itself, and some of the chalets on it, are in need of TLC, and there is renovation work going on in some properties that has obviously stalled and is a bit of an eyesore, but the location itself is beautifully tranquil - no noise or rowdiness. All in all, it's a very relaxing place to stay and we had a great time there.
The chalet was nice but I think in need of an update. There wasn't a wardrobe in the double bedroom, just some hooks on a rail with some hangers on, it would have been nice to have a wardrobe in there but there was very limited space. There are blinds at the windows but no curtains and with a street light right outside the back bedroom window it was quite light in that room all night. The beds were lovely and comfortable and shower was always hot.
The location wasn't great for us but mostly because I had a broken ankle. The coastal path would have been ideal if I had been able to walk to it. The sun is on the front of the property in the morning but at the back in the evening so not great for sitting out at the end of the day. We did however see lots of rabbits in the field outside the chalet in the morning and evening which was lovely to watch.
It was nice that there were toilet rolls, kitchen roll, foil, hand wash, washing up liquid etc there already which we topped up when we went shopping. The welcome basket was a pleasant surprise. There was plenty of information available with places to visit around the island.

Good location, clean property & thoughtful touches
Driftwood was a really good property for our holiday on the Isle of Wight. It looks out onto open fields and is just a 10 minute walk to the beach via the coastal path. The property is well equipped and pleasant gift of wine and biscuits greeted us on arrival. The property has been recently renovated and it is a pleasant place to stay. We had issues with the shower while we were there and the owners endeavoured to rectify this on the day they were notified. Unfortunately, even despite the plumber replacing the shower, demand for water across the holiday park means that at peak usage times (8am-10am) the water pressure is not sufficient for the shower to work. This was our only issue with the property and is a problem for the park more generally, rather than the individual chalet.
Whilst we were on the Isle of Wight we spent a lot of time at Yaverland beach, but we also visited Seaview, which we would thoroughly recommend. We visited Robin Hill park for a day with our children (2 and 6) and we returned for an evening to watch a magic show, samba performance and owl flying (all included in the standard ticket entry which is valid for 7 days). We would recommend Browns Café (Sandown) and the Gossip café in Yarmouth too. All-in-all a great holiday and we can't wait to return to the Isle of Wight.

We are grateful for a thoughtful review as our aim is to make a great holiday experience, and remove any shortcomings. When we heard the shower was not performing we arranged for a plumber to change the shower within hours. The plumber indicated all was now well, so we have only realised an issue may still exist on seeing this review. As of Feb, 2017, a new mains water pipe to the site is being installed at a cost of about £30,000. This should resolve pressure problems at peak times
Very clean, everything worked, comfortable beds and seating.
