About this property
Private Cottage, near CSU, Old Town and the Foothills
The cottage is great for a getaway, close to the mountains and town. Only 3 miles from Old Town and 1 mile to the foothills. We have decided to make the cottage available to guests since our brother can no longer live with us due to his health. The location is quiet and peaceful with a country feel yet close to many wonderful adventures awaiting you in Old Town or the mountains. We have two geared bikes that you can use to explore Old Town or ride the bike path along the Poudre River. Or, you could just relax with a quick meal prepared with the microwave or toaster oven and enjoy a lazy morning with a cup of coffee. Great room appeal with a large screen TV and sofa sleeper. Full size washer and dryer are located in the large bathroom. Parking is off street and next to the cottage. We are pet friendly and welcome dogs and birds. Please, no cats are allowed due to allergy concerns for guests.

About the host
Hosted by Pam Bjorlo
Fort Collins is a quaint town that continues to grow and offers many charming places to explore. It was never my intention to stay when I moved up here 25 years ago to attend graduate school at CSU. But I met my husband, decided to stay and we have created a wonderful property that we love to share. It is perfect for our cats, dogs, horses and chickens. It looks like Fort Collins is my forever home.
Why they chose this property
We built this little cottage for my husband's brother who could not live independently. It is quiet, and peaceful.
What makes this property unique
The Poudre River is biking distance away. A wonderful bike path connects to Loveland to the south and Timnath to the east. There are many breweries and wineries all within an easy drive or bike from our Cottage.
