ALIHI LANI. This small, six unit complex called a 'Real Gem' by the Ultimate Kauai Guidebook. Enjoy endless views from our oceanfront pool. The front landscaped area also has two gas grills and comfy lawn furniture. We are named 'Premier Hosts' by VRBO and won the Trip Advisor Excellence award and have been #1 on TA for years.

OCEANFRONT. Our premium second floor location has direct unobstructed ocean views is less than 50 yards from the pounding surf. Watch ocean life and spectacular sunsets from the 184 square foot covered lanai. Year-round you will see turtles and dolphins - and during whale season the show is right in front of you.

LOCATION. The location is absolutely ideal. Away from all the hectic Poipu Beach traffic, cars and surfers. But just a few minutes easy, safe, sidewalk walk to the beach at Kiahuna which has all the conveniences of a snack bar, showers and bathroom. Learn to surf - guaranteed - right on the beach or snorkel and swim. Whatever your mood! Plenty of warm, white sand to stretch out on as well. Covered cabanas available for rent.

FLOOR PLAN. We are light filled upstairs end unit with views from nearly every room! There are two true master suites, both with bathrooms directly accessible from the sleeping area. Every room has super quiet, efficient air conditioning with individual controls. The setup is ideal for two couples or a family of up to 4. Lanai, Kitchen, Dining, Living, and one Bedroom all have spectacular ocean views.

REMODELED. Furnishing and finishes are always being upgraded. Rich tones including bamboo flooring enhance the 'classic Hawaiian' decor throughout. Kitchen is fully remodeled. Soaking jacuzzi tub in remodeled bathroom.

AMENITIES. Our home is equipped with everything you could possibly need to enjoy your vacation. It is luxuriously appointed with high quality linens and towels. Kauai-made soaps, shampoos, and lotion are provided. We also supply boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrella, and a cooler for your outings. For evenings in, we have HDTV smart TV's in every room, games, books and binoculars for whale/turtle watching. Even smart home google entertainment. The kitchen is well stocked for preparing any type of meal.

Alihi Lani is now a 'NO SMOKING' property both inside the unit and in the common areas.

Great location, amazing property, and incredible views. This condo is amazing, the views can't be beat, the lanai is absolutely wonderful, and you won't want leave. It truly feels like home when you are there and you will want to stay. I can't say enough good things about this condo and about Cynthia, they are both wonderful!

Wonderful property and great location! Views from covered porch are fantastic. Best stocked VRBO that we have ever stayed at- awesome beach chairs and beach towels supplied as well as paper products, laundry pods and Brita water filter provided. We recently stayed at the Alihi Lani#4. Your accommodations were immaculate and beautiful! We went to sleep each evening to the soothing and serene sounds of the ocean. We awoke each morning to those same ocean sounds! As well, each morning was spent on the beautiful lanai watching whales and dolphins swimming, turtles feeding at the shoreline rocks, and colorful birds visiting the complex! We hope to return soon to your home away from home in paradise!

The view is magical...

We loved our stay. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to prepare and enjoy meals on the lanai. Lovely furnishings and finishes, comfortable beds, great pillows and towels. Beach chairs, coolers, are all provided. We had a Kona Storm come through with lots of rain, but our accommodations allowed us to make the most of it with the views out to sea. The list of things we loved about this stay goes on and on. The pool, the location, the view, the view, the view. Great communication from the owner with prompt responses and helpful information about the area and things to do all over the island. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Unit

The unit was exactly as described in the ad. The pool glowing with the blue light at night was beautiful. We even saw whales from our balcony the last morning we were there. The only downside of this place was that the beach across from this unit was not useable due to the rocky terrain. We went a short way down though to a wonderful beach for the kids. Cynthia was wonderful to work with. Thanks.

I miss this place already!

First, we have to start with the view, although what I really want to say it that this is the best supplied rental I've ever seen. The view is truly special, although to be fair there is a road in between the unit and the water, which is well traveled. From the balcony we saw dolphins pods frolicking, humpback whales spouting and oh my stars! I've never seen stars on the horizon before, it's that dark out there! And you'll see the Milky Way, it's truly astounding at night! Now back to the unit, this owner truly thinks of every need! You walk in to find gentle Hawaiian music welcoming you, a kitchen stocked with coffee and every condiment you might want, and bathrooms supplied with every necessity. The sheets are silky soft which along with the sound of the ocean allow for a very restful nights sleep. The only issue was the air conditioning, which worked fine for me, but the owner requests that you don't go below 72 and my husband needs to have it freezing cold at night to sleep, so it was a bit warm for him. There were no ocean breezes blowing and the fan just makes him clammy, so I think for people sensitive to heat this might be an issue, but for me I was fine and actually turned my air conditioner off at night because it was too cold. The dual zone air conditioning is key. Neighbors are neighbors everywhere, but mostly ours were quiet during our stay. You'll get some local color with the kids that line up to see the sunset and fish from the rocks. Easy walk to the restaurants at the Sheraton resort, and follow the suggestions the owner provides in the booklet, she's very honest and spot on! I missed this place as soon as we left so spend some time on that balcony for me!

Dream condo!

A boutique condo setting. This is our second stay at this unit and it just got even better with brand new air conditioning. Well appointed through out, the kitchen is spacious and well-stocked for both cooking and serving an army. All the gear you need for a day at the beach, including a cooler. Read the intro packet on how to rent one day's snorkel gear free. Cynthia is a delight to work with both in the planning and during the stay. She is cordial and professional. Her on-site crew go above and beyond for the guests. Gorgeous condo in prime Kauai location. Recommend Spouting Horn at sunset. The open door helicopter ride is a trip of a lifetime, especially if you score the front row door seat. Cap'n Andy's cruise to Napali Coast had better crew than Holo Holo, but the promised snorkeling was delivered in murky water just out of Port Allen, where they tossed breakfast rolls overboard to entice a few fish. They were deceiving in their claim the water would be "too green" on North Shore. Big cats can't anchor at the snorkel sit there. Silly of them to lie. If you want pristine snorkeling then skip the big catamarans, as the real snorkeling is on small boats on the one reef on Napali Coast- just don't skip any chance to see Napali by water. The new Ka'paa Shaved Ice truck (red trailer on ocean side) is a cloud of heavenly ice with all homemade real fruit ingredients. They don't have coconut ice cream (yet) but I'd say this is the first real shaved ice that tops or at least matches Oelani's on Maui. Zipline is a hoot. Right down the road across from the Marriott is the Planation Condos- their garden makes a gorgeous sunrise stroll through hundreds of orchids and plants. A free botanical garden. Waimea Canyon- if cloudy on top that day- just before you leave the canyon- pull over and picnic on rocks looking up the canyon- gorgeous and no tour buses. Hanalei Bay beach (one with the pier) on a sunny weekend day is a hoot as locals line beach with trucks and families in impressive numbers play on the beach. The café in Hanalei in the old school house-mauka side of main road- best real food- good prices. With Costco on the island, plan a great BBQ each night at the pool. Three BBQ's for six units so minimal wait time. If you've ever stayed at a huge complex you know why this is so nice. Each island has its own charm, but you can't beat Kauai and there is no better location than Unit 4 at Alini Lani to enjoy this slice of paradise. Enjoy!

The BEST place in Kauai!

The pictures are totally what you'll find in the actual condo, but the views exceeded our expectations! It was wonderful, from start to finish. You can hear the waves from the bedroom. Everything about this stay made it so relaxing. We will be back!

Kauai Paradise

This is just simply an amazing condo rental experience! Not only is the condo furnished with tasteful decor but it is set up with EVERYTHING you may need for an awesome vacation. I mean, beach chairs/umbrellas/floaties all the way down to coffee supplies, ziplock bags, spices, and every kitchen gadget you could ask for! Totes with first aid, toiletries, swim stuff with “Take some/leave some” labeled on them. The view off the lanai is incredible, we saw incredible sunsets every night and whales jumping as well as sea turtles swimming right by the shoreline. Very quiet and beautiful complex, we felt very safe there. Multiple restaurants, coffee shops, drugstore, etc within less than a mile. Loved loved loved this vacation, Cynthia was a wonderful host!

There is nothing quite like eating a breakfast of fresh mangoes and pineapple on your private lanai while watching sea turtles in the pacific ocean. I highly recommend this place - ocean view is magnificent, owner is extremely responsive, beds are very comfortable, and the location is great - a short walk to the Sheraton Beach, very close to Poipu beach and all activities in Poipu. Thank you for giving us a vacation our family will always remember!

Perfect Location

We LOVED our trip! The condo was beautiful, clean, and in the perfect location for our family. Being able to walk to restaurants, shops, and the beach was key. We were also able to watch the sea turtles swim in the cove from our balcony! Cynthia was wonderful to work with and we really appreciated all of the information she provided before our arrival. We will absolutely stay here again the next time we visit Kaua’i.

Our piece of paradise

We loved our stay at Cynthia's vacation residence. We especially appreciated the walkability to everything we needed, including groceries. The sunrise every morning was very special....and a reminder to us of the importance of appreciating every moment on this wonderful island. At one point during our stay we needed to communicate with Cynthia, and she was extremely responsive and helpful. All around perfect stay in Kauai!

Tastefully decorated condo with lovely ocean views.

The ocean views from this condo were exceptional. We spent most of our time on the lanai taking it all in, starting with watching the sun light up the waves as we drank our morning coffee, and ending with the gorgeous sunsets sipping a glass of wine. Cynthia has created a lovely home. We had everything we could ever need to spend time on the beach and to stay home and cook delicious dinners with local fish and produce. The location was just right. We were away from the hustle and bustle, yet it was a short walk to the Sheraton and Poipu beach to the east and to the stores and restaurants a couple of blocks west . For us, this lovely condo provided the perfect get away.
