The area of Sainte-Maxime
------------------------------------
Sainte-Maxime is settled in probably one of the most beautiful stretch of the Côte d'Azur, facing the mythical village of Saint-Tropez, and with the beaches of Pampelonne and La Nartelle nearby; it has not lost its family friendly atmosphere however. The various beach restaurants will provide your holidays with a unique « tropezian » touch.
The peninsula of Pampelonne has a lot to offer with its perched villages of Gassin and Grimaud offering breathtaking views of the bay; why don't you also visit the seaside village of Port Grimaud which colourful channels are so wonderful by boat and then follow the many inland roads of the peninsula sided along the lovely vineyards?
The wider region itself is not outdone, and a whole week might not be enough to discover its many hidden or less hidden treasures.
