Escape to the rain forest!

We had a great stay at this magical location a short drive (20mins) from Pavones. My husband is a confident driver, so the drive was not bad for us. Clear details were given by Pascal, the host and the contacts he had given to us in his absence. We experienced power outages for 3 of the 5 days we were there. This was due to the storms, and we were in the rainy season so its to be expected. I would therefore have a back up plan! We enjoyed mornings and evenings watching the wildlife from the terrace and spent the days at the beach. You are close to Punta Banco, and pass a couple more surf spots before you get to Pavones. This gives you the opportunity to check out all the breaks and pick the best one for you!!

Mooi verblijf op een schitterende locatie maar met wat verbeterpuntjes.

Het is een ruim huis op een prachtige locatie. Deze is echter alleen met een 4x4 bereikbaar. De hygiëne is een verbeterpunt. Bij aankomst was het huis niet schoon gemaakt. In de koelkast stonden levensmiddelen van een maand oud, de afvalemmers waren niet geleegd en in de douches en wc’s lagen veel dode insecten. De eigenaar heeft later hier zijn verontschuldigingen voor aangeboden. Ook bleek er geen vers water en gas te zijn. Dit is ook met de eigenaar gecommuniceerd en de volgende dag direct verholpen. Als deze puntjes in het vervolg meer aandacht krijgen heb je een mooi verblijf op een schitterende locatie midden in het regenwoud.
