Beautiful home; get all provisions prior to arrival

Villa Roka is a beautiful home, well-maintained and welcoming. The photos on the online profile are true to life. The back courtyard and pool were delightful. The kitchen is well-equipped. Hot water works in the showers. Walk to the beach is about 15 minutes. If your goal is to arrive, stay, and relax, I recommend bringing all your food with you when you first arrive - the road from the center of town is not paved so is difficult to drive on, and it's a long walk. There are small boutiques near the house where you can buy water, eggs, vegetables (you need cash), but for meat/fish or other provisions, there is no nearby grocery store (we drove 1 hour to get to Auchan in Mbour). Bedrooms have air conditioning but do still have mosquitos - best to burn incense ("garabou yoo"- can be purchased at the local boutiques) to kill the mosquitos when you go to bed.

Leider, wurden auch am Sonntag, in den Nachbarhäusern Bauarbeiten durchgeführt. Deshalb 4 P für Lage

Sehr schönes Haus mit Pool, der jeden Morgen für den Tag fitgemacht wurde. Sehr nettes Reinigungspersonl. Kam alle 2 Tage und schaute nach dem rechten. Einen ' Hausmeister' gibt es auch. Immer freundlich, hilfsbereit und zur Stelle. Das WLAN ist nicht immer verfügbar gewesen. Leider ein generelles Problem in Afrika. Ich hatte jetzt, in meinem Urlaub, an den Sonntagen, mit Baulärm zu kämpfen, die 2 Nachbargebäude betraf. Aber auch die werden irgendwann fertig werden. Im grossen und ganzen, kann ich das Haus weiterempfehlen für Familien, besonders mit etwas älteren Kindern. Ein Auto zu haben, wäre gut. Stellplatz auf dem Grundstück ist vorhanden. Touabab Dialao ist keine grosse Stadt. Das Leben kehrt erst am Abend ein. 😊

Belle maison dans un écrin de bougainvilliers

Cette maison offre tout le confort nécessaire la literie est de bonne qualité, la vaisselle et ustensiles de cuisine en quantité suffisante, l'eau de la douche est chaude. Mais surtout ce qui est le plus appréciable c'est l'extérieur avec sa terrasse, ses transats et sa piscine. Mustapha, le gardien veille à ce que tout soit bien propre et est prêt à vous rendre tous les services dont vous avez besoin. Rokhaya, notre hôte, veille à distance et est toujours très disponible pour répondre à toutes nos questions. Merveilleux séjours inoubliable.

Highly Satisfied

Our traveling party of 4 were highly satisfied with our experience. The owner was responsive and communicative. The groundskeeper was attentive and helpful. We appreciated the outdoor pool and the hammock in the nook. There were large tables both inside and outside with plenty of room to spread out work papers or play games in the evening. The 3 bedrooms with bathroom were great. We also appreciated that bedding and bath towels were provided and that there was hot water for washing dishes and showering. There was also off street parking on the property grounds. We would have liked to stay longer however our work schedule did not permit this. Would definitely stay again if ever in the area.
