We also have a living room, family room, dining room and fully renovated kitchen with in unit laundry! This is a hidden gem in Chicago! All of this is available! "The West Loop lies along the western bank of the CHICAGO RIVER. It is approximately bounded by GRAND AVENUE on the north, Ashland Avenue on the west, the EISENHOWER EXPRESSWAY on the south, and the Chicago River on the east. Popular restaurants line RANDOLPH STREET, including Girl and the Goat by STEPHANIE IZARD, and Leña Brava by RICK BAYLESS. The area has experienced rapid GENTRIFICATION.A former manufacturing and warehousing area, many of the buildings have been converted to loft condominiums, restaurants, bars, and art galleries. OPRAH WINFREY's HARPO STUDIOS were located on Randolph Street, and the site is currently under construction to be the corporate headquarters of MCDONALD'S. SOHO HOUSE was one of the first boutique hotels in West Loop, and ACE HOTELS followed in 2017. Retailers in West Loop include MARIA PINTO, BILLY REID, FREE PEOPLE, and AESOP.". We do not have central air, but there are a/c window unit(s) to use at your disposal.

The grand Union Station, built in 1925, is an iconic beaux arts rail hub.

We had a great time in a wonderful property! The neighborhood is packed with incredible food choices and interesting shops. The property itself was very clean and tidy, and boasted a lot of lounging space. The patio space was a great spot for dinner in the evening, though it would do with some exterior lighting. All in all, my kids and I loved the property and would be pleased to stay here again.
The place was bigger than I anticipated and the private patio was very nice to have when the weather cooperated. Plenty of options nearby for food and a convenience/liquor store across the street for basic necessities. Smooth check-in process, overall an awesome place to stay!

The property looked nothing like the listing. The pictures are outdated. It is listed with 4 beds. There is was only 3 beds and an air mattress. In no world should an air mattress be considered as an official bed for this listening. There were no extra covers or pillows for said air mattress or even for the couches. The air mattress was very stained and gross. Would not recommend
We were not able to stay at this property because upon arrival we found multiple cockroaches inside. This was very concerning and unacceptable for a vacation rental. We immediately contacted the property manager/host and requested a resolution. Unfortunately, the condition of the home made it uninhabitable, and we had to make other arrangements.Future renters should be aware of the cleanliness and pest issues we encountered. The host is very dismissive especially since we had provided pictures. No resolution and no refund. Also I would refer to other reviews about this host company as well, including yelp.
This large 3 bed/2 bath was a good location to downtown, expressways and tons of dining options. The condo itself was fine. Beds were comfortable. Enough seating in the lounging areas. 2 tvs but one didn’t work. Kitchen is bare bones: a few glasses, plates, utensils, etc. there could be a few more items for how many people the condo can accommodate. There were wine glasses but no bottle opener. Our only real issue was the cleanliness of the condo: it clearly wasn’t fully cleaned. The floor was filthy, dust on the tables and countertops. But the bathrooms were cleaned well. Basically the whole condo can use a deep clean especially the furniture. Otherwise it was a good and comfortable stay.
The process to book the property is extensive, but I’m sure it protects the owners. We loved our stay. The property is larger than I expected. It was the perfect reunion place for college friends of twenty years to spend a weekend together. We were able to easily hop on Chicago’s bus. The neighborhood was convenient to downtown and good food. It was also very quiet until Saturday night where it was quite lots on the streets.

There were some issues, that we communicated with the PM, which were promptly addressed. There was an recurring issue with one of the toilets, the couch in the family room was stained a bit. Other than that the place was nice and comfortable. The location was good and centrally located to where we wanted to go. Free parking means street parking, which felt like a lottery, when we found it. We enjoyed our stay and would probably rent this bnb again. No central air, but they supplied plenty of fans for use. The pictures do not match what we found. Peeling paint, holes in the wall, no door knobs on bedroom door, the thermostat was hanging off the wall. The tv in the back room was very hard to get going. After the ridiculous amount of hoops we had to jump through to get the place, we expected more than “We’re sorry for any inconvenience “.

There was a significant amount of throw up and cigarette butts on the patio. This was displeasing to say the least. The overall property was disappointing due to a lack of basic supplies that are typical at other stays. I hope they do a better job of cleaning the property for the next person.

The apartment was spacious and in a good location, but the property left much to be desired especially with the difficulty of renting that came along with it. We were asked to sign a short-term lease and leave an extra deposit, report all people who would enter the apartment, etc. so we assumed this place would be great - it was not. The home was stuffy - air conditioning didn't reach the whole apartment. Beds were not very comfortable, and the kitchen did not have much of anything we needed for the stay. The wifi did not work, so we couldn't ge work done in the apartment. There were other issues with wall hangings, screws sticking out of the wall, etc. that made us nervous with two children under 2. The worst though was the very steep and curvy staircase leading up to the apartment that we were not warned about in advance on the listing. This would have been a miserable experience had our grandmother stayed with us- which we originally intended to do.

My group of 4 wouldn't have booked this property if it was represented properly. The property lists 4 beds, but that is not the case. The 3 bedrooms have the correct beds, but there is no twin bed in a living room. The 4th bed is a Queen air mattress, which is not what anyone in our group would have wanted to sleep on while on vacation. Property management alleges it's not possible to list an air mattress so the details revert to another bed. Whether this is true or not, this detail is important to disclose in the listing so guests are aware of the true sleeping arrangements prior to booking.Additionally, this listing appears to have been updated since our stay, but upon our booking, there were no details specifying that Air Conditioning listed in Amenities does not mean Central A/C. Instead, this property has a window A/C unit in 2 of the bedrooms, which means the 3rd bedroom and the living rooms have no way to keep cool other than opening the windows and plugging in one of the floor fans that are in the apartment. 2 of our days had highs in the mid to low 80s so the apartment was uncomfortable and we barely spent any time in it.I was disappointed with how property management addressed these significant issues. The only option presented was to break our reservation without penalty and be refunded for unused nights, but on a busy weekend in Chicago, where could a group of 4 adults have gone last minute? The photos are from May 18, 2025 for reference on what I'm detailing.

The listing mentions it can sleep 10 and has 3 beds and a living room "twin bed." The management company was responsive to any questions and concerns I had initially. I even received my security deposit shortly after checking out from this location. However, the property and the stay weren't as good as advertised. My group had 2 couples using 2 rooms, 1 person in the living room, and 1 in the 3rd room. There was no twin bed in the living room but a sofa with stained cushions, no pull-out mattress, and no extra sheets available. Texting GOATHOTE led to a back-and-forth about non-existent extra sheets in a closet and they would get text me after contacting their cleaning company. They didn't text back until 4:40 AM the next morning so we made do and found a cleaning closet with a cable lock that had some clean sheets we fished out to cover the sofa. GOATHOTE also said a blow-up mattress would be available to use in a closet, but it was dirty. On check-in, the 1st bathroom was not cleaned as the trash wasn't emptied, the shower was filthy, and a random article of clothing from the previous guests was left on the floor. The 2nd bathroom also had a door that would not lock. One of the couples mentioned that the blankets and sheets smelled musty and were possibly not washed. GOATHOTE apologized initially for the inconvenience but texted me to say there were discrepancies in what I reported and a video the cleaning company sent them. I will not book with them in the future.

This property was just as the listing showed. It was very private and perfect for two couples to share and have their own spaces. Kitchen was well equipped to cook your own meals and the location was amazing for walking to restaurants and bars. We felt very safe! Close to the Fulton Market and other great food venues for new tastes and experiences! We even all (4) got tattoos at the place right across the street! Thanks Goat Hote!
