About this property
Your Own Private Luxury Resort - Sturbridge/Brimfield, MA
Attending a wedding? The Brimfield Antique Fair? Or Just looking for a private retreat with all the amenities, and proximity to so much more: world class gourmet restaurants and breweries; hiking, biking, horse, and water trails; parks with lakes and picnic areas; farmers markets, harvest festivals, concerts on the Common, apple and pumpkin picking, hayrides, waterskiing exhibitions, and, of course, the world famous Old Sturbridge Village, a living history museum that recreates a rural New England Village of the 1830s.
Featured in the Wall Street Journal as its House of the Day, this property has everything. Treat your family to luxurious accommodations and amenities: A swimming pool complex with casita and barbeque grill, two tennis courts (clay and grass, though the grass court is currently repurposed for events and lawn games), a golf practice area (driving range approx. 125 yards), an activity field (set up with ping pong, corn hole, and ladderball), a basketball hoop and tennis bang board, a barn and corral, a private pond for fishing, 60 park like acres with private trails for hiking, jogging or horseback riding, two fire pit areas (a wood fire pit in the field, along with plenty of wood, and a gas fire pit on the DR patio), a gas grill off the kitchen, rolling fields, gardens, multiple patios and decks, and lush landscaping. There is even a themed “Little Italy” café, ideal for small events. And for the Antique Fair enthusiast or dealer, or for hosting events (permission required), - virtually unlimited parking in the field. Everything about this property is top of the line. You will have a vacation to remember always.
Sleeping Configuration:
There are beds to sleep a maximum of 16, but we only allow 14 unless an exception is made: a King in the Master Bedroom, three Queen bedrooms plus an additional pull out queen sleeper in one of those bedrooms, a pull out queen sleeper in the family room, a day bed and trundle (so two twins) in the library, a queen sofa sleeper in the kids room, and a queen murphy bed in the Little Italy Café area. (There is also a blow up queen bed stored in the utility room). All beds will be made up upon arrival. Linens and towels are provided. All bedrooms are air conditioned.
Provided Equipment:
We supply tennis rackets and balls, golf clubs and balls, 1 adult fishing pole and two children's fishing poles, ping pong balls/rackets, various games (croquet, bocce, corn hole, kan jam, spike ball, ladder ball) and lots of sport balls (football, soccerball, basketball, frisbees). We also have some child/infant equipment on premises: a changing table, two high chairs, a diaper pail, a pack and play, a bouncer, and some children's games.
