Moose Meadow Lodge near Yellowstone - Sleeps 15

Soak in the breathtaking views from this beautiful AIR CONDITIONED cabin with a wrap around porch that offers access to a private community boat dock. Come during the popular summer months of gorgeous weather where the list of activities, historic sites and nature to see is endless. Only 35 miles to West Yellowstone!
Whether it's catching fish, playing on the water or in the snow, this place has so much to fall in love with.
The lodge has breathtaking views of the Island Park Reservoir and Sawtelle that can't be matched. The backdrop of the tranquil mountains with an Idaho sunset is almost indescribable. If it's relaxation you're seeking, you'll be impressed with the tranquility of the area and will hopefully be able to catch site of the local wildlife.
The lodge has everything you'll need to come back and relax after a long day of snow machining or being out on the water. There's plenty of room for everyone to have their own space but perfectly set up for everyone to be able to gather and enjoy each other's company.

*To comply with our rental permit, this home may only have a maximum occupancy of 15 guests. Please do not exceed 15 guests.
*There are 6 exterior cameras and 2 ring doorbell cameras on the premises for security purposes.

Note: PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED in the cabin. The owners however, do have a trained seeing eye dog that stays with them when they occupy the cabin. Please just be aware in case anyone in your party has a sensitivity to dog hair. Our cleaners do a really great job of trying to get all of the pet hair, but just want our guests to have a heads up!

This house was perfect for our 3 families Yellowstone adventure! Well stocked, super clean, and adequate space. The lake that this is on provides some excellent recreational opportunities as well!

The property was very nice and had great views of lake and mountains. There was plenty of room for our family of 16. We enjoyed several visits into Yellowstone. We also visited Upper and lower Mesa Falls.

Truly beautiful wilderness experience

The views and solitude offered in this stay were amazing. A 40 minute drive from West Yellowstone and all that the upper and lower loops have to offer, this is about a 3 hour drive to Grand Teton and all that Jackson Hole has to offer.

Fun outside Yellowstone

Well kept and well equipped house 40 minutes from the west entrance to Yellowstone Park. The property is located roughly a quarter mile from a beautiful lake. Folks with a motorboat should consider including a day or two on the lake in plans.

Stayed for a Yellowstone vacation with a family of 15. Space was sufficient, property was well maintained, and communication with property manager was excellent. Only 40-45 minutes from west entrance to Yellowstone. There were a couple unexpected issues that required communication with the property manager and she was very responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend for large families!

Moose Meadow Lodge

This rental is amazing! The older kids loved having the basement area to hang out, watch tv, and having their own bathroom! There are two bunks; both with full on bottom and twin on top. We adults (6 of us) had plenty of space with everyone having their own bedroom. The beds were comfortable, except the loft beds were a little too firm for one set of the family. The balconies give a beautiful panoramic view. The house is stocked with almost everything you need for your stay. It is only around 30 minutes to West Yellowstone and the drive is smooth and flat.Sharie is a great hostess and responds quickly to any questions. IF we ever get back to this beautiful part of our country, we would most definitely book again!Sharie, your home is beautiful and gave us a rich Western experience!The Gallman/Dawkins families from Mississippi!

The birds

The deck and windows had a lot of bird poop. We let the property manager know on the second day, and cleaning occurred the next day ( third day of our stay). Looked fine after that. However, would’ve been nice for the property manager to offer a small reimbursement for not being able to use the deck for almost 3 whole days.

Beautiful home and location

Beautiful home for our family Yellowstone trip. Just a short 45 min drive to a West Yellowstone. Had a few issues but the property manager, Sharie, was very responsive and answered our calls immediately. For people with mobility issues this may Not be the best home for you. The front steps are beautiful but hard to get up. The beds are tall and my elderly parents couldn’t get in them. These issues are not the homeowners fault, obviously, just thought people may want to know who are in our situation. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We had a wonderful time!!

5-Star Rating Vacation Rental

We rented this place for almost a week as a senior trip/graduation gift for our son who graduated Valedictorian in his high school class of 2022. We made plans to visit the Yellowstone National Park, Grand Teton National Park and do sight seeing in neighboring towns within the area. This place was just the perfect spot as it is not that far from them. We were able to explore and had great adventures in both national parks and was still able to come home to a very relaxing and cozy cabin house. Its very clean, very spacious and very beautiful. Waking up in the morning to the amazing views of the mountain and the river was a huge plus! Our family gave this rental vacation house a 5-star rating! It's an awesome place to bond with family and to relax peacefully and de-stress from all things. It surely rejuvenated all of us after our trip. We hope to be back someday and explore more of Idaho, Montana and Wyoming.

Great rental

This was a really nice rental. The house was clean and well stocked with good kitchen equipment etc. The beds were comfortable and the layout was conducive to our small group. The location is a bit of a drive from the highway, but we didn’t find it to be an issue and views from the decks were all brilliant. The property manager was responsive and professional, which we greatly appreciated. It’s a more expensive home than some in Island Park, but it was very comfortable and nice. Would stay there again for sure!

Wonderful cabin. Excellent kitchen and well equipped! Two fridges! Lots of space. Excellent amenities. Private beach. Easy drive to Island Park. Minor issue with clogged toilet and couldn’t get someone to take care of it. Overall the property manager is excellent.
