The Cocoonr agency offers you for rental, in the heart of the historic center of Rennes, the Suite de Pauline, a 48 m² apartment which has the charm of the old. Quietly located in a 17th century residence classified as a historic monument, the apartment is located on the 1st floor (no elevator) and can accommodate up to 4 travelers for a professional stay or a tourist visit to Rennes. Its contemporary and warm decoration blends perfectly with the history of the place.

The accommodation is composed as follows:
- An office entrance
- A bright living room with a view of the Psalette courtyard. The living room includes: a sofa bed, a TV, a dining area.
- An equipped kitchen: combined oven, hob, sink, refrigerator, Nespresso coffee maker, filter coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher, kettle, washing machine...

Perfect location in the old town and right behind Cathedrale of Rennes, short walk to all of the shops and restaurants and just steps from Marche des Lices. The apartment itself is in an old historical building and has the quirks you would expect - some creaky floors and wonkiness - but it was what we wanted and expected when we booked.

French charm and wonderful location

Charming historical unit in wonderful location in medieval center of Rennes. Unit needs better upkeep management (outlet covers falling off, broken marble in bathroom sink that someone tried unsuccessfully to "fix" with tape), very weak and unstable floorboards in spots, and shower borderline unusable because shower door doesn't clear the faucet controls or easily close if someone is in the shower/very tight. Leaf/pigeon feather residue on living room carpet near window. Interior garden area (although charming) was very unkempt when we arrived, but someone arrived the next morning and spent a lot of time cleaning it up/trimming plants. Interior (except for above pigeon feathers/leaf debris) was spotlessly clean. With some better maintenance, this would be absolutely perfect.

Wir haben eine sehr schöne Woche hier verbracht. Die Lage ist super. Das Appartment einzigartig. Man muss angesichts des Alters des Hauses ein paar Abstriche machen. Der Renovierungszustand ist nicht ganz so schön, wie es auf den Bildern aussieht.

Petit bémol : 1 pas de box internet dans le logement car elle se trouve dans l’appart du dessus réseau wifi pas foufou et si dysfonctionnement il faut attendre que l’autre résident de l’appartement soit la pour la réinitialisation 2 une odeur désagréable venant des canalisations parfume la salle de bain donc moyen moyen l’odeur au réveil quand on souhaite prendre sa douche Par contre Très bon accueil de Linda nous sommes arrivés plus tôt que prévue et tout à était mis en place pour que nous puissions accéder au logement rapidement ."

La Suite de Pauline "It's very French! A very charming apartment with a very traditional decor with it's charming imperfections to match!! The apartment was clean, spacious, had all the amenities mentioned and in working order. Heating is effective and I didn't feel cold. The bed was very comfortable. Lighting is a bit dark which can make it look different from the pictures. There is need of some maintenance for things like door handles, hooks and creaky floor boards. The door locks work and are secure but are quite fiddly. Personally none of these things bothered me much but if you stay for longer than a week it could become irritating. WiFi is fast which is great for remote working, just note that coverage isn't strong throughout the property. There's some deadzones like in the bedroom. Living room is fine though. The host agency is very good and they respond quickly and help answer any questions. The agent who welcomed me was very helpful. Overall it's a good choice to stay for a short while."

Que de beauté ! On accède au logement par un escalier majestueux orné de statues et on passe au travers d’un hall splendide sur lequel ouvrent les portes de l’appartement. Le décor de ce dernier est simple et fonctionnel. Autrement, l’appartement est très bien équipé. Regagner cet endroit après une journée de visite est un plaisir. Je recommande ce logement."
