Zephyr Retreat (Apt 3) - Park View

Welcome to the OG Zephyr Retreat (Apt 3)! Unwind from your busy schedule in this 2 bedroom, first floor relaxing space. Shared outdoor porch with seating/dining area. Front bedroom has queen bed, back room has full size bed. Dining area has table and seating for 4 with a separate desk to keep connected to work and school. Roku TV and wifi. Full kitchen with gas range and microwave. 4 blocks to beach, 3 blocks to Asbury Park. Washer and dryer in unit.

Our century home is in a great location - central to the Great Auditorium, Boardwalk Pavilion, beach, Main Ave shopping, and Asbury Park events. No vehicle required to experience the local offerings. Your front door opens to Greenleaf Park with no homes or buildings to block the breeze or the view. Dine on the porch and watch the sunset. The inside dining area with desk is the perfect spot for school or work. The kitchen is stocked with dishes and cookware. We also keep a free library on the corner of our home and the neighborhood keeps it stocked with enough books to suit just about every reader, young and old.

Thank you for considering staying in our 130 year old HISTORIC home in Ocean Grove. OG is a sleepy Victorian community as well as a Nationally Designated Historic District. We are just minutes walking distance from some of the best nightlife (Asbury Park) and beaches in New Jersey. Please remember that we are a historic home (formerly a bank) and as such please consider if that will meet your needs. If you have any concerns please message us and we will be happy to provide a tour.

We’ve been to Ocean Grove multiple times and the Zephyr Retreat is a GREAT location. Super close to Main Street to grab a coffee or meal and just a short walk to the beach.

This was convenient to my daughter who lives in AP but up a long set of stairs that my husband who uses a walker can no longer navigate. The entrance & exit from this apt was easy with a railing & only 3 steps.

Great location in this charming beach town!

One of the best things about this apartment is the location! It’s on a sweet little parklet, not far from the beach, and close to restaurants and shops. The host was very quick to respond to all our questions! Rental comes with beach passes and beach chairs which is a big convenience and appreciated perk. Overall, the space is quite tight (ie no room for bedside tables, walk straight into the living room, etc). And, I would have loved a few more nice detail touches—more glassware and dishes, soap in the shower, etc—but this didn’t affect how wonderful our weekend was.

Location, Location, Location

Turned out to be a perfect rental. First on my list is always location. This property is perfectly located to walk to both the Ocean Grove and the Asbery Park boardwalks and beaches, as well as the local restaurants and shops. Everything was as advertised. A huge bonus that really added to our enjoyment was the neighborhood park right off the entry porch. A really lovely place to stay.

Weekend Getaway Down the Shore

Our group had a lovely weekend at the Zephyr Retreat! We were attending a friend's wedding in nearby Asbury Park and the location was perfect; couldn't have been closer, all within walking distance. Angie and Dave were terrific hosts and incredibly responsive throughout our stay.

Great Rental

My husband, 2 children and I stayed a week at this unit. It suited our needs perfectly. It’s clean, cozy, and charming and the location is perfect. A 5 minute walk to the beach and a 5 minute walk to Asbury Park restaurant row and 1 minutes to Days Ice Cream! Angie and Dave were immediately responsive to our messages. We feel so lucky and grateful to have booked this unit with not a ton of advance notice.
